• Abby walked up to her seat to wait for her friend Sara. The sun was beating down on her and she loved it ,this was her favorite time of year. She sat down looking out over the track at all the people walking down to the pits. She would have loved for her and Sara to be able to go down, and maybe meet some driver. Her best friend Sara had gotten her into racing , she never thought she would be as hooked as she was now. Sara is the kind of woman Abby wanted to be . No one took her for granted she took what she wanted then if the guy was right she would hang around. Abby on the other hand was the doormat kind of woman. She never stood up for herself ,she knew that was why all her relationships never lasted. Guys knew when you were weak, and they could walk all over you. Abby was lost in thought when Sara came bounding up the stairs. “Come on you will never believe where we are going.” As she grabbed Abby’s hand and pulled her down, the stairs. “Slow down Sara your going to break my arm and just where are we going?” as she pulled Sara to a stop at the gate of the track. “We my friend are to meet you know who!” Sara looked at Abby with a wicked grin “The love of your life Gabriel Moore.”
    Sara must be crazy she couldn’t do this, but Sara still pulled her toward his pit box. He stood there singing everything pushed at him, he knew these fans were a big part of his fame but why did they all come at once. His crew chief stood by him , he turned and leaned in and said “ Come on Gabe it will be over soon, smile show them your happy there here. And maybe they will leave faster.” he tried. Then he as if someone pulled him by his neck he looked straight into the eyes of an angle. Eyes so green that they shined through the crowed pulling him towards her. It was so strange the way he looked at her, it made her shiver in side. Abby wasn’t sure she liked it , but those blue eyes were too much for her to turn away . She knew her face gave her away she could feel the heat spread, she tried but could not turn away his smile started slowly but as it spread across his face. She could see all the long lean lines in his face it just about stopped her heart then and there.
    Sara pulled her forward towards him saying “Come on Abby we will never get to him if you keep dragging your feet.”, then all at once someone from behind pushed them both and Lynn fell straight into his arms. She looked up at those bright blues eyes smiling down at her he held, her there to his chest then he she thought her chest would explode from her heart beating so hard, he had to have felt it too.
    “Are you ok? Some people have no idea how to treat a lady.” Abby tried to compose herself “I’m fine I’m so sorry for falling on you” she all but drooled on him but he still held her to him. “Are you sure here? Sit down I think I’m done here anyway, sorry folks but no more for now see ya on the track later.” as he helped Abby sit on the wall. He still kept his arm around her .Looking up at Sara she said“ I’m sure Mr. .Moore has things to do so we’ll be going now, it was very nice meeting you and again I am so sorry about all of this.” She started to get up from the wall he stopped her by holding lightly onto her arm “Please don’t go yet I still have a little time be for the start, so how are you enjoying everything so far?” Sara spoke up “Everything is going great we are having a blast.” then she just blurted out “ Abby here is your biggest fan , we both love racing but she is all for you.” If the ground would have opened up and swallowed her it would have been just fine to her. “ Wow my biggest fan didn’t know I had one but I am very glad to have the chance to meet you” He stood up and lightly pulled her up to him by her arms . She was so mad she knew he was, teasing them and she didn’t like it at all. “ I can stand on my own thank you, I am sure you have a lot to do so we will be going no, it was very nice meeting you.” Gabe and Sara both just stared at her , where did that come from she had never done that before. But damn it felt good ,she took Sara’s hand and started to walk away ? What had just happened why had she gotten mad, but when she did those eyes turned to emeralds and she stuck her chin up at him . She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life. He reached out and took her hand “Where are you going? Did I do something to upset you? Please tell me what I did?”
    Abby turned and look at him, and just glared “ You must think we are just silly little fans huh? But listen here bucko we love the sport too, we are not just here to try and flirt with you guys.” He stood there what and the hell was this woman’s problem . “Look I am sorry I didn’t mean to offend you ok. But I’m still not sure how I did it.” Abby knew she had over reacted, she bent her head down, “ No I’m sorry for how I acted , I am I guess a little on the defense today I shouldn’t have taken it out on you” Sara turned and had to open her big mouth again “ Her lousy boyfriend just cheated on her, she caught him at her apartment. I mean can you be leave that he had the nerve to bring a girl to her house when she was at work?” Abby wanted to turn and run away , she reached out and stepped on Sara’s foot hard. Sara backed away with a yelp , it made Abby feel a little better. But then like always some hunk come to her rescue and lead her to tire to sit and they started to talk Sara smiling her best at him. Then they were alone together , Abby didn’t want to look up at him, but she knew she had too. Gabe reached out and took her hand in his , his hands were so large that Abby’s disappeared in it. “It’s ok Abby I have a big mouth friend too, so I understand all to well.” he laughed and put his other hand under her chin and lifted her face to his. The smile on his face the warmth in it made her heart do flips in her chest. Abby heard over the loud speakers that all drivers were to go to there cars, but Gabe just stood there holding her chin and hand, staring at her. “ Don’t you need to go Gabe ? Abby didn’t want this to end but she knew he had to go. Gabe shook his head a little and look over her head, “ I guess I do but could I ask you something ? Would you go to dinner with me please after the race?” Abby was so shocked she didn’t know what to say. “ Well I would love to but I’m here with my friend . I just couldn’t leave her to walk back to the hotel by herself.” Sara walked up to them and said “ I thought I heard my name what about me? Abby you just about broke my damn foot.” Abby smiled at her crazy friend and shook her head. Gabe turned to the guy Sara had been talking to “ Jamie you want to go get something to eat after the race? With these two lovely lady’s.” Jamie walked over to Sara and smiled “Sure Gabe if your paying? He laughed and reached out and brushed something from Sara’s shoulder, and she turned and smiled up at him. Abby knew right then there was no way out of it now. Gabe turned back to Abby “Well it looks like we have it all fixed up. That’s if you still want to go Abby?.” he had her and he knew it God what was wrong with him he felt like a school boy with his first crush. “ Sure it sounds like fun , how will we meet up after the race?” Jamie turned to Gabe “Why don’t they stay down here? I’m sure we can find some seats for them on the concession stands. Then they cant slip away huh?” he was smiling now at Sara and she was blushing. She had never seen Sara dot that before, she must really like this guy. Gabe put his hand on Jamie’s shoulder and turned and looked at the girl’s “ Would that be alright with you both? I mean I know we cant tell you where to sit. But we would like you to stay down here if you would?” He was smiling right at her now , how could this be happening . Never in a million years would, she have thought that they would ever meet him , but now he was asking them to dinner and to sit in the in field . Abby turned and looked at Sara she was beaming at her “Sounds great we really appreciate it , this is a dream for the both of us . Thank you both so much.” Gabe took her hand and smiled down at her with those bright blue eyes of his “ Don’t thank us you are the one doing us the honor of going out to dinner with us. But Jamie take the lady’s and find them seats, I am so sorry but I got to go now.” and with that he leaned down and kissed Abby’s check softly. My God kissing a woman’s check had never done that, before he was rocked by it all he could do was look in those green eyes. And the he turned and started to run back to the garage area , he turned back once and smiled at her “ I’ll see you later after I win this thing .” then he was out of her sight. Sara grabbed her arm and pulled her after Jamie, they walked into the infield area. Neither could believe there eyes there were all the drivers , that they watched every Sunday . It was so unreal to them both , Jamie walked up to a big guy near the food court there “ Hey Bob do you think you could fit, these lovely lady’s up there for me and Gabe?” Bob smiled “ Sure but tell Gabe he owes me for it ok?” Jamie laughed at that and turned to them both “ I‘m sorry too but I got to go, someone got to change his tires .” They climbed the stairs behind Bob, Sara had a death grip on Abby‘ s arm, they both were smiling at each other ,still in shock over everything . Bob stopped and turned to them “ Here we go lady‘s you can sit here.” pointing to seats right up front , they could see the whole track from there. Soon as Bob was gone they both did silent screams of joy then sit down so not to draw looks from everyone else. Sara turned to Abby and said “ You are the luckiest woman in the world you know? Gabe is so crazy for you they way he kept touching you was so sweet.” Abby turned to Sara “ You got to be going insane Sara he is just being nice that’s all , why would a guy like that give me a second thought?” Sara just smiled at her “ Well you can say what you want I know when a guy is smitten , and he is just look at the way he held onto you after you were just fine.” Abby was still floating ten feet off the ground . “Are you crazy Sara he is just a very nice guy he is not the type to like girls like me” Sara plopped in the seat and looked at Abby “ Well I’ve never had a guy look at me that way before .” Abby just stared at the track how could she go to eat with him, she would make a fool of herself. “ What was she going to do he is so beautiful and sweet. She just sat there dumbstruck at what had just happened , here she was a some what good writer have had lots printed and even a book.
    So why was it that he made her feel so silly , she had to get a hold on herself. He was just being nice because of what had happened , that’s all it was. She would go to dinner with him like a grownup, and that would be it .
    They would never se each other again , she would go on watching him race and that would be it. Abby turned to Sara “Thank you for taking me down to the track, you gave me a great gift” “ Well how it looks the gift just keeps on giving huh?” She sat staring at the track as they all lined up to start the race then the engines roared to life and the race started race she loved this part . The speed and rush of it all he had placed 3rd so he was up front in a flash. He was good all the time but tonight he was unstoppable , he didn’t know what had came over him. But ever since he had seen her and touched her , it had taken control of him. His mind was so clear tonight , he knew that at the end of it he would see her. Smell her and if he was real lucky, maybe touch her again . He had to stop this for now , he had a job to do. She sat on the edge of her seat , the race seemed to be over so fast . And there he was standing on his car hands raised high , he had done it . “ Oh my Sara he won ,I guess we should go now .”Abby started down the stairs Sara grabbed her arm, and stopped her “ What are you talking about ? He will be waiting for us.” Abby stared at her he would not think of them , he had won there would be no time. “ Sara be real he has forgotten us now, lets just go please.” That sat there for a few minutes , Just then Jamie came running to them. Abby could not believe it surely he had forgotten them. “ Gabe told me to tell you both, he would be as little longer then he thought. But for you both to come with me to the winners circle . He turned and started to walk away then he stopped “ Well are you two coming ? Gabe said for me to bring you right away.” Sara grabbed Abby’s hand and held tight “ I told you he couldn’t forget about you , oh my gosh you are you lucky” “ Why ?”Abby still believing what was happening. “ Wake up Abby he’s got it bad for you, I’ve never got to guy like that before.” Abby just stared at her she was crazy for sure , she knew it now the girl had lost her mind. Someone like Gabe would not fall like that he was to strong , and too in control. He needed someone strong and beautiful , someone too match him not her . Some little no one from Georgia, she knew her place on the ladder of looks . As they came closer she could hear his voice , he was laughing with the guys . What a beautiful laugh too oh my gosh it was like music ringing in her ears. “ I never thought you lady’s would get here, so how did you like the race?” then he lifted Abby in the air and spun her around. She laughed as he sit her back on the ground , her heart was pounding at his touch. It was like her whole body was on fire from his arms around her.
    “You were wonderful out there my gosh you passed everyone , like they weren’t even there.” Abby gushed to much and she knew it, but he smiled that wonderful smile at her . “ Thank you very much , I don’t know what came over me tonight , I mean it was almost like the car was driving it’s self.” The crew chief slapped his back “If that was the car we will never change it, but Gabe you were magic out there , what ever was on your mind leave it there for next week ok!” Then the crew said there goodbyes and left , “If you both don’t mind I’ll go get cleaned up so we can go.” Abby touched his arm lightly , “ If you are too tired we can leave you, too rest it was very sweet of you too ask us to dinner, but you have to be beat after that.” he was shocked by the feelings the simple touch brought up.
    He had never felt such intense heat from a touch before, he laid his hand over hers to keep it there. “I’m fine I promise I am really looking forward to this, I hope you still are ?” He was looking down at her with those intense blue eyes , she could not turn away. “ Are you two coming with me? I don’t want you two stay, out here with all these guys they might steal you away and I wont have that.” . Sara pulled Abby to her “ Will you just chill ok? Every thing is going to be fine , he really wants you here ok so just shut up and believe it.” They walked with him back to his motor coach, it was so big . He opened the door for them , they walked in it was so nice . “ Please have a seat I wont be long , make yourselves at home. They sat on the long sofa and looked around them,
    “Abby he has got to be loaded , this place is awesome .” They sat there for just a little bit gosh he was quick, Just then they heard his door open and he stepped out , looking to damn good . Those long legs clad in tight jeans, topped off by his very well defined chest covered by a thin tee shirt . His hair was still damp from the shower he just took, but he didn’t want to keep her waiting long. She was just what he need tonight after the race, to calm him down after his win.
    He stopped right in front of Abby and smiled down at her. He lifted his hand to trace the curve of her cheek, it was so soft and warm to the touch. It shook him to his very chore , never has touching a woman done this to him. But he was not alone Abby was rocked by his gentle touch , her head was swimming and her insides were in knots. Sara cleared her throat it seemed to startle them both , she was beside herself this was what Abby needed. Gabe turned from Abby Smiling at Sara “ Ok we get the picture we better go Jamie will be chomping at the bit looking for you anyway .” He knew that she didn’t care if he was a driver or a clean up guy, he could tell just by the way she looked at him. Not like a fan but something more he wasn’t sure what yet, but he knew he had to find out. But he could tell she was scared by what she felt, hell he was scared to death of what he was feeling. He knew that if he was to get to know her it would take time, he couldn’t rush her. It would be worth the wait he knew it would be. She was a special woman and he would take his time, because he knew that he couldn’t let it slip away. “Well lady’s let’s get going and get some grub, where would you like to go?” He turned to Abby and started to take her hand, but stopped short of it and dropped his to the side. He opened the door for both of them to go out, and took a deep breath before walking out too. This was going to be a long night, trying to keep from scaring but his need to touch her was so strong. Abby walked slowly beside him trying not to touch his arm, they were so close together . That it couldn’t be helped every time it happened the heat was so intense , it burned her skin. She knew he had to feel it too, because he would try and back away when they touched. Or was it that the fancy of it all had worn off for him, maybe she had been wrong about him. She knew most successful guys thought that, every woman wanted them and would jump at the chance. But she had thought maybe he was different than that, but it wasn’t like she was ever going to see him again in person like this so why did it matter to her. Let him be a jerk too , she would enjoy tonight and that would be that. As they crossed the track he reached out, and took her arm to steady her on the sloping track. She pulled her arm free , she wasn’t sure why but she was a little ticked off. At first he was so sweet, and acted like he couldn’t keep his hands off her. Now it was like he touched her, only to be kind and she was mad about it. She knew she shouldn’t be , he was in fact first a man. And how she knew how men could be, she had a gift for attracting jerks. He stopped them both in the middle of the track , and just stood there staring at her. “What the hell was that for, I was just trying to help you ok? Stop looking at me that way , God you are making this so hard.” Abby just stared at him what the hell was he mad for, he had gotten what he wanted. She was going to dinner with him, even though it was killing her to be near him. Why in the world was she feeling this way , for a man just met today. She was going insane , she just knew it that’s why her heart was pounding in her chest. Just with being so close to him. All of a sudden he closed the gap between them, and took her face in his hands. Her whole body felt on fire with his touch. She raised her hands to his chest to steady herself. “What do you think your doing? You can’t just go grabbing woman like that.” “Please just shut up for a moment ok? don’t you know when a man is trying so hard to keep his hands off?” The look she gave made his heart jump in his throat . “ You really have know a lot of jerks huh? Abby you are the most beautiful woman, I have ever met . It is taking all I have in me not to kiss you right now.” Her breath caught in her chest , no one had ever told her that she lowered her eyes from his face. Again he lifted her face to his “ Please look at me I need to look in your eyes, when I say that it’s not to take you to bed Abby ok? You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” She was in shock at the tenderness in his voice, she knew he meant what he had said. Then she did something she had never done before. She rose up with her hands pressed to his chest, and kissed him . His head was spinning why did she do that, oh her lips were so soft just like he thought they would be. All she could do was hold on, as he brought his mouth down hard on her. The feelings that started to stir scared her to death. He caught her lip with his teeth , tugging on it for her to open herself to him. Her mouth had a mind of its own now, her lips parted for him letting him in to taste her. The sweetness of her shook him straight to the soul, he had never felt such need to protect someone. Yet the need for her was hot and real, it burned through his whole body like a out of control fire. She leaned in closer and pressed her body to him, in her mind she was thinking what the hell are you doing stop you know you need to stop this. But how could she it was, like something that she had never known took over. His mouth sought more from hers she gave all she had freely to him. He pulled back just a little , and stared at her with those beautiful blue eyes not letting her look away. “ You see what I’m talking about?” He was as winded as if he had run the track right then, but he also felt to alive. “I’m not sorry that I did that, I hope your not . I’ll try my best to keep my hands to myself for a while.” “ But if you look at me that way again , I can’t promise you I want kiss you again ok?” All she could do was stare at him, her lips still alive with the heat and passion he brought out of them. He put his arms around her , she laid her head on his chest for a moment. “ Ok I will try but I’m not sure how I looked at you” she turned her face back to his , he was so close to her she felt his breath on her mouth again. She started to back away “ Not yet please I just cant let you go right now, I’m afraid you’re a dream and I’m about to wake and find you gone.” Then Sara and Jamie came back, looking for them. They had gotten up to the front , before they noticed they weren’t with them now. Hearing them coming made them both back away from each other. “What are two doing? Were about to starve , come on Abby lets go you can kiss later ok?” Her face reddened at that he just smiled, at her and took her hand and lead her to the gate. They walked for a while without talking, he just held her hand. She didn’t know what that had really done to him ,but she was still reeling inside.
    As they crossed the street to the bar, he put his arm around her and pulled her close. Her smell was killing him it was like a drug it made his body tingle and burn for her. They walked into the bar and took a booth by the windows. Abby slipped in first and then he followed her in the seat . The booth was small he was so close , she could smell his cologne. It was like the outdoors it was cool and raw as a winters day. Her mind was rocking with his scent and with there body’s touching.” Would you like dance?” “ Sure I would love too” her hands shacking under the table. Gabe stood and helped Abby out of the booth. She knew right then she could fall In love with this man, and she was wondering if she already had. But you can’t fall that fast, can you? They walked to the dance floor a slow and song was playing. He pulled her close to him, his arms around her waist. She put her head on his chest , the sound of his breathing was so intoxicating. She moved a way that made his body knot up inside.
    He hated for the song to end , he didn’t want to let her go. They turned and walked off the dance floor holing hands. Sara came up and grabbed Abby’s hand and leaned to her ear“ Abby come to the lady’s room with me?” Abby turned to Gabe “ I’ll be right back ok” Gabe held her hand to his chest” Hurry back ok”. He was still drunk from her smell ,holding her so close to him had just about done him in. They walked to the lady’s room , as soon as they entered Sara spun around. “Tell me everything right now, what is going on here you never act this way with a guy?” Abby went to the sink to splash cold water on her face , “ I’m not sure what is going on, but he is so wonderful and sweet, I think I’m falling for him Sara.” Sara pushed up to sit on the counter, “ Tell me something I don’t already know, the way you guys are avoiding each others eyes. Tell me all I need to know .” Sara put her hand on Abby’s arm “ Please just be careful I can tell by the way he is treating he wouldn’t hurt you, but still go slow ok?” Sara jumped down and grabbed Abby in a bear hug
    “ You are my best friend in the whole world all I want is for you to be happy, I know you have a some bad luck with guys. But don’t make Gabe pay for it ok? He really seems to care for you.” They walked out and back towards the table , Gabe stood and took Abby by the hand “Would you dance with me again please? I promise to be good.” She looked up in to face and everything but the two of them melted away. “ I would love too Gabe.” she smiled up at him and his heart was gone and he knew it. They walked to the dance floor and another slow song came on , he took her into his arms she fit so well like she had been made just for him. They swayed slowly together body’s moving as one, she laid her head on his chest. His arms tightened around her as his heart swelled as if it were going to burst from his chest. What was he going to do?, he would be leaving in the morning . But how could he just walk away from her, he was already gone to far for that. But he had to go but for now all he could think of, was this wonderful woman in his arms. She could hear his heart beating slow and steady, but when she ran her hand down his arm it beat faster. Never before had she had this effect on a man , she knew now how other women felt. A fast song came on he started to lead her off the floor .but she held him there , moving to the song with such perfect moves. It made him hurt with need for her, she moved around swaying her hips to the music it was killing him. He had to sit down or his body would give him away, and he was determined not to go fast with her. He pulled her in front of him “ Can we go sit please? I mean if you don’t mind.” Abby felt bad she should have known , after the race he had to be tired. “Sure we can are you ok?” she touched his arm and he knew that then anyone who got to close could tell what she was doing to him. “I’m ok it’s just that umm something is acting up. I am trying my best to be good , but my body just wont listen to me. Abby thought for a second then slowly, she looked down . Oh my gosh he was about to burst through his jeans , she turned and walk close enough so no one could see. She smiled to herself another first for her, she was loving this so much.
    They got to the table and he slid in first , she sat down next to him very pleased with herself.
    Sara was off playing pool with her new friend , gosh she was something else . Abby knew she would be going back to the motel alone that night. Gabe put his arm around her pulled her close to his side and whispered in her ear “ I’m sorry for that I told you I would be good, and then I go and act like an a** . But when you started dancing I couldn’t stop it.
    Please say you forgive me?” Abby reached for his hand on the table looking in to his eyes, “ It’s ok your just a man It was my fault for dancing to close.” Took her face in his hands brought his mouth to hers moved his lips slowly across hers moving them both to another place , he lifted his mouth from hers but kept his face close to hers. “God Abby you have got to stop that doing this .”
    He took his hands from her face, and raked then through his hair. “ You are driving me nuts , and I honestly don’t know if I can be good for much longer.” Abby turned and stared at the table “ I’m sorry but I don’t know what you mean I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong.” Gabe turned her all the way around so that, she was facing him. “ You have done nothing wrong Abby, the problem is that your doing everything so right.” Just then Sara and Jamie walked up , “ Abby do you think you would be ok to go to the motel by yourself? Jamie and I were going to go for a walk. And I’m not sure how long we will be gone.” Abby turned to Sara “ Yes Sara I’ll be fine you guy be careful walking around town.” she smiled at Sara. They turned and walked away, “Wow she never stops amazing me, I have always wanted that kind of guts to just go after what you want. And not be scared silly.” She said all that before she could stop herself and wished she could take it all back in. Gabe pulled her close again “ Let’s get out of here please? I’ll walk you to your room if you would like me too?” Abby was scared silly but she was also had feelings stirring and didn’t know if she could stop them this time. She stood up and Gabe slide out and put his hands on her shoulder.
    Turning her to him she saw the need in his eyes , that she knew was mirrored in her own eyes. She had never seen that kind of need before, it didn’t scare her like she thought it would. But then again she was sure this was what she wanted so badly it hurt her heart. They walked outside and even though it was warm, she shivered , he put his arm around her pulling her close to him. “So where are you staying at?” “ About a block from here you but don’t have to walk with me . I’m a big girl I am sure I can get there on my own but thank you .”
    He just looked at her with those blue eyes and she could see the need in them. “Please let me walk you, or you could just come and stay with me in the motor coach. I hate the thought of you alone tonight. And we both know Sara won’t be back tonight.” Did he really want her to stay with him tonight. My God what she doing , yes she wanted him badly. But did not want a one night stand even if it was with Gabe. She wasn’t that can of woman, but she felt too that he was not that kind of man. So she lead the way to the motel, they didn’t talk on the way there he just held her to his side. He mind was racing with so many thoughts , he wanted her so badly but did not want to scare her. He had a feeling that this could be the one , and he was not going to screw that up for just a roll in the hay. The air was electric between them , she could hear her heart pounding in her ears as they walk slowly along the streets. They came up to the motel she started up the stairs, he just stood there staring at her, what in the hell was he doing backing out now. “ Are you ok ?” she started back down then stopped . “ If you don’t want to come up it’s ok, I want be mad. Why don’t you just go my room is right here .” she pointed to the room behind her. “ No I don’t want to go Abby it’ just that , you are so special to me . I don’t want you to think I came here for just to make love to you ok.” he started up the stairs towards her and he laughed. The look in her eyes was amazing the green deepened and she looked a little scared.
    “ I am so sorry that part came out wrong, I am not expecting you to make love with me tonight. I cant say that I don’t want you but I am not that kind of guy ok.” He stopped just a step below her , and he took her hands in his. Damn it he was doing this wrong , here she was shaking and scared of him now. Her hands trembled in his he held on tighter to them.
    He took a step and took her in his arms, he held her to his chest . She could feel his heart beating fast against her , it for some reason seemed to calm her nerves . “ Let’s go in ok Gabe? We can talk in the room.” she looked around they were drawing a crowd. She pulled back from him and walked up the stairs, she didn’t hear him but she could feel him behind her. Her bag did not want to come unzipped , she yanked hard and everything flew out all over the ground. “Damn it I’m such a klutz” she bent to pick it all up , and they bumped heads as he had lowered himself to help her. She fell back on her butt, and started to laugh he joined her . His laugh was so amazing it made her heart skip a beat in her chest. They picked everything up he handed her the key , her hands tremble when there fingers touched. She turned and slide the key through, and turned the door knob. They had left the lights on , they knew they would be back late. But Abby never thought she would be coming back with Gabe. Shutting the door behind them, she let out a soft sigh. She was a big girl and knew what she wanted, but she had never done that with a guy she just met. She felt his arms surround her , pulling her tight against him. She let head lean back on his chest , he pressed lips to her hair. And he breathed deep what, taking in her scent . Abby turned in his arms to face him, she lifted her face to his. “ Gabe I need to tell you something . And I’m not sure how to start it. Gabe smiled down at her his eyes bright with amusement, “ Tell me anything you want little angel.” Abby lowered her gaze to his chest “ I haven’t been with many men Gabe. And I’m sure you want some one who knows what to do better than me.” Gabe put his hand under her chin, lifting her face to his. His voice thick with emotion , his breathing was slow and steady, “ Abby that’s not what I am looking for . If we did nothing at all tonight it would be fine with me. All I want is to be with you just like this.” That brought tears to her eyes, no guy had ever moved her to tears like this before. He touched her check wiping away the tears,
    “ Abby please don’t cry , I’m sorry for what ever I did to make you.” Abby raised her eyes to his , they were glowing , “ Gabe you did nothing wrong at all, it’s just no one has ever said such sweet things to me.” That was almost to much for him, it ripped at his heart. The thought that no one had ever took the time to tell this wonderful woman just what she was really worth. Gabe lowered his mouth to hers and took he lips softly and gently. Bringing her to a place she had never been before, he gave all he had to her. She gave back with the same intense passion he gave to her .     He rose with her in his arms, and walked to the bed laying her on it gently. Then he lowered himself to cover her body with his own. Abby just stared at him bewildered at what he just said. “ Did I do something wrong Gabe?” Gabe pulled her tightly against his chest and laughed.
    “ God no Abby you have done nothing wrong , I just think we maybe should take it slow ok? I want our first time to be special. To really romance you right, show you how special you are to me.” But they would never see each other after tonight , how could they do that. Gabe took his hand and raised her face too his, “Abby I know what you are thinking , but if we really try we can make this work. It will be hard but I believe worth the work don’t you?” She was in shock, was he really asking her to be his girlfriend?
    “ Gabe what are you asking here? I guess I’m a little lost here.” Gabe laughed that wonderful laugh of his, and kissed her soundly on her mouth. Abby just could only stare at him in amazement , how in the world had such a man like this could ever want her. Gabe touched her cheek ,tracing the curve of her face his touch light but it had so much power over her. She took his hand in hers, bringing it to her lips kissing each finger and then his palm .
    With feather like kisses , it made his heart burn with love for her. And his body yearn for her, he wanted to take his time and show her the love she had never seen before. “ Gabe please let me in on this ok? You are really me freaking out. How can this work?” Abby tried to get up from his lap. But he held her there, stroking her check looking deep in to those deep green eyes. Gabe couldn’t really get a hold on all this . How can you fall in love so fast and so hard. She was not his typical type of woman. He usually went for the flashy type blond big boobs. But they had never done to him, what she had. And in such a short time, they had only met today. He was so sure this was the one, he knew it in his heart and soul. Abby looked at him wondering , how in the world would she fit in to his world.     “ Abby why don’t we sit and talk, you can tell me about yourself and I will do the same.” He moved to the couch and sat down patting the sit next to him. She walked across the room slowly, not sure if she could sit that near him. And not drag him back to the bed, where she really wanted right then. They way she moved it ways like she was floating to him like and angel. As she got closer to him he grabbed her arm and pulled here down to him. He laughed and kissed her softly on the lips, his teeth nipped at her lip.
    Lightly pulling her mouth open, to taste her sweetness . Her mouth was warm moist and so damn good. If he didn’t stop now, there was no way she could . She pulled back from him putting her hands to his chest pushing him away.
    “ Gabe if you want to wait , you need to stop this right now ok? Because you are killing me right now.” She got up from the couch , and started pacing the floor in front of him. “ You cant tell me we need to wait and then kiss me like that .
    I have never been the type to try and push a guy.
    But you are making it so damn hard for me.”
    She turned to him and he was smiling at her.

    Abby stopped in front of him, with her hands on her hips. “ I’m not sure how were going to do this,
    But I feel the same way you do I think we can work it out.” He was so glad to hear her say that,
    He stood and went to her pulling her in his arms.
    He leaned down and whispered to her “ I can’t not kiss you, but I will be good ok? You mean that much to me Abby.” She laid her head against his chest , gosh he smelled so good . And his chest was so hard, his strength made her feel so safe . And it made her want him even more, she ran her hand across the plain of his chest to his stomach . She felt his tremble from her touch, gosh she loved that. He grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, “Abby if you want me to be good, you have to also ok?” She looked up at him , his normally bright blues were now darkened with passion . “I’m sorry Gabe I will be good now,
    But you dissevered it for all you’ve done to me too. Abby smiled sweetly at him.” “ Ok were even now then, but we can still kiss right? I sure we can handle that right?”
    He put his hand behind her neck, pulling her to him. Letting his mouth rove over her mouth and face. It was late and he knew he had to go, but how could he leave her now. Gabe thought for a moment , what if he stayed the night with her. They didn’t need him at the track he could get back in the morning . “Abby do you want me to stay? I don’t want to push myself on you. But I would love to stay with you tonight.” Abby’s mind was reeling could she spend a whole night. And not make love to him , it was going to be hard . “Yes Gabe I want you to stay , but if we are together all night I might not be able to keep my hands off you”. He was thinking the same thing, but he couldn’t leave he knew that also. “ Well Abby I guess we might have to make love then”. He looked with a wicked grin on his handsome face. It made her insides melt and she knew what had to be done. “Gabe I think you should go I want you ,but I think that we should wait .” Abby looked up at those wonderful blue eyes , seeing he felt the same way. Gabe took Abby’s hand and brought it to his mouth and pressed his lips to it.
    Never before in his life had a woman meant so much to him that he was ok with waiting.
    All he wanted was to be near her, to smell her and touch her. Her scent was intoxicating to him, it was like a field of wild flowers. “Abby I’m fine with waiting all I need is to be with you.”
    Gabe ran his finger down her cheek and lifted her chin . So that she was looking into his eyes,
    He lowered his mouth to hers and kissed her softly. And with that he rose from the couch and walked to the door. He stopped just short of turning the knob , he turned back and said ,
    “Abby I want to see you in the morning before I
    Leave ,please say that you’ll be there?”
    Abby got up and walked towards him ,
    “Nothing could keep me away from you, I’ll be there with bells on.” Gabe smiled that wonderful
    Sexy smile of his “ I would love to see you with just bells on .” Abby blushed from her neck up she felt the heat rise . But then to show him she could be bold to , she walked to him and leaned
