• 'Please, don't worry Tina, they're only jealous.' I wish I could believe myself when I said that. I guess its sort of true, my tail did shimmer in a certain way that made you look at it for ages. But the ocean water also had that affect on me. The rock underneath me was cool. I pulled my gaze away and look toward the water. Something caught my eye and I dove under the water to see better and found it was a necklace, but it was a necklace I had never seen before.
It was a gold chain with a blood red stone wedged into the center of a teardrop shape. I tried to think of what stone it was but I couldn't remember, a ruby I think they are called.
I swam over to it and picked it up. The stone felt smooth in my hand and it shone like the stars. I always liked to look at the stars at night through the water, although father doesn't like it.
I looked up through the water and swam up to the surface and looked around. I saw a flat rock on the surface of the beach and swam over to it.
Hoisting myself up I grunted with the effort. It was hard with a big rock in your hand. Sitting down on it I found I was sleepy. I hadn't realised I was so tired. So i didn't lose it I draped the stone carefully around my neck and prepared for a sleep.

    A Few Hours Later.
'Why does my tail itch?' I opened my eyes and looked up into the black dark sky. I hadn't realised I slept for that long. I stared into the stars as I absentmindedly scratched my tail. 'Wait a minute' i stared with horror at the stars twinkling back at me as I flattened my hand against my tail but where I usually felt my red scales there was more skin.
I sat up and looked down and screamed as I saw to my horror two things sticking out of my hips. They were the same colour as the rest of my body but, they felt different. I looked around me and saw a large piece of cloth lying on the shore. Dragging myself off the rock and gingerly planting my new found appendages on the ground, I started to lift them one by one until I was walking towards it. As I got close I slipped and fell on my bum, looking next to me I noticed that I had managed to fall closer to it then I thought. Relying on my fashion classes I tried to make a dress out of the large blue cloth. Standing up again I looked around me and saw, in the distance a large castle, sort of like fathers one but just not under water. I started to walk over to the castle thinking, 'Well, I can't go home like this. I don't even want to think of what Father would say.'.
“Come here boy. Good dog.” I heard a voice and stopped in my tracks. 'Oh man, a man. Whats he going to think when he sees me.' trying to keep hidden I crouched down behind a green leavey thing and peered through to find myself looking at a handsom man
