    I slept at the station for the night. By morning they were all gone. I decided I need to do something. I had to look for people. I had to find food, shelter that was safe, and weapons. I couldn’t keep sleeping in the train station. Nor could I stay at my dad’s apartment. Wooden walls. Today, everyday, I’ll look for food and water along with survivors and weapons until somebody finds me. I’ll leave out signals or something so the government to see or hear. I walked up the dry escalader to look at the station gates. It actually held. Maybe I should stay in the station. It’s just so… So… Achoo! So cold… I could probably find some food in a restaurant or a grocery store. Food Lion is just a block or two away. I wonder where the nearest clothing store is, I forgot I’m not wearing a… A… Achoo! A shirt. I think there is a Hollister close to Food lion. I cou… Cou… Achoo! I could probably walk. Or I could take my friends moped! I see it from here. After unlocking the gate, I easily opened it up. Looking outside to make sure there weren’t any of those things out there still. Nope, the city was cleared. They must hate light. They didn’t seem to like fire any more than I do either. Alright, off to the… The… Achoo! The mall to get supplies. Crap, I think I’ve got a cold. Must have been from sleeping in the train station shirtless. I speed-walked over to the vehicle looking all around to make sure I wasn’t being followed. I spotted something small moving from corner to corner. It didn’t look like one of those evil things. I just ignored it and jacked the moped, driving off towards the mall. I heard footsteps. I checked the rearview mirror to see a small creature on all fours dashing after me. I stopped and looked back and it was hiding behind a thrown over bench. I knew what it was now. I patted on my knees. I snapped my fingers. I shouted “Here boy!” The creature continued to hide with his tail between his legs. I got back on the moped. I could see the mall from here. I parked the moped in the parking lot and attempted to walk in, but of course, the door was locked. I wasn’t going to just give up. There was a shopping cart out in the lot. I grabbed it, backed up, and ran towards the door. Thump! Not even a crack in the freaking! I think my head cracked though. I look around the parking lot for something to use. I saw a couple of cars, my moped, and the little tailed creature, not much else. Crap, well, I might as well go get a shirt. Later, I emerged with a brand new white, short sleeve shirt with a long sleeved red shirt underneath. I also grabbed a sweatshirt incase it gets really cold. I walked back to food lion to find the door opened. Opened. I stared intently at it. I wondered how it opened. Someone else was in there, I had to find him or her. I dashed in and to my surprise I saw a box of treats opened, spilled on the ground. I walked over to it and saw the title: “Dog treats.” Why would anyone want dog treats? I walked through the store with a shopping cart pulled by one hand, a bat held in the other. I was cautious, getting foods needed. Once I was almost done, I heard a loud screech. I checked the watch on my arm and saw that it was 6:00. How late was it when I came in? I looked over the isle to look at the window to see if it was dark, but all I saw were those things. Thousands of them piled up, waiting at the exit. Thank god I closed the door to let whoever was in here out. At least I was locked up with another human, and food to last a year.

    Puppy?
    I slept in the store that night after eating dinner and boarding up the walls, windows, and doors. I slept in the dog treats isle, I thought maybe the other person would come back for more. I woke up and saw something move across the hall.
