After watching Jamar walk away to leave me all alone in the dark house. I ran in the house slamming the creaky door and up the stairs to room. I got to my room, went inside and slammed my door and locking the door. I stood, back against the door, slowly crying myself down to the floor. My face full of shock as I glanced in the mirror. My mascarer staining my face. I looked dead. My new lace dress ruined. My room was dark. But the moon lit the room enough to see myself. I couldn't even see myself! My eyes were full of tears. How could I not be there with her! How could I lay there making out with Jamar when I could've been protecting her! Its all my fault! I could've pushed her out of the way. But why didn't someone sacrifice their life or even save her? I couldn't stop shaking. I sat on the floor with my moth open and my eyes closed. Repeating the same thing over to myself, "God help me, God help me, God help me..."(ect.). I put my head between my knees. Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead. Slowly my eyelids got heavier...
This time I awoke in a black room. I heard cries and moans. There was door. Slowly pacing myself in the dark room toward the door. When I reached the door, I tried to open it. But it was locked. I got bored standing around for a few minutes. All of a sudden. A deck of cards appear on a poker-like-table. A woman appear also shuffling the deck of cards smoking a cigar (which is REALLY not cool!). She had bronze, crimped, mid-shoulder hair. I couldn't see her face though, she had a black-top-hat. She was in a sort of feminism business suit on. Blue. And there was a single dangling light that hung above the table. "Welcome," the unknown woman said, "So, um..Mary? Thats your name, right?"
"Uh...yeah. How'd you know?" I asked nervously. "I already met you." She said stern. "We have?" I said as I looked at the blood-stained walls.
"Yes," she laughed, "finally....well, would you like to play some Texas Holder? Or are you gonna pass?" "Definitely yes, I would hate to pass up my favorite sport," I smiled at her. And something unexpected happened. She took off her hat to reveal her beautiful bronze hair and the demon/angel in her face. Her eyes set in fury and evil. But her face was set in the most beautiful features. Her bloody-red eyes. Two perfectly lined eyebrows. Her silky, pale skin that shimmered from the swinging light. Her pale pink lips that smoothly curved the line of a cigar. She grabbed the cigar and through it across the room. This woman was even more dangerous than I thought. "Lets play," She said in a way that it wasn't a request. But we weren't playing what she requested thats for sure.
