• Chapter 3

    “Icepaw before you talk to Wolfpaw I need you to give the elders some food.” Foxtail said. Icepaw sighed and nodded.
    “I’ll help you.” offered Wolfpaw.
    “thanks.” Icepaw said. She got a rabbit and a mouse and Wolfpaw got a vole. They were walking to the elders den and saw Jayfeather and Ticklepaw walk into Bramblestars den. Icepaw had no idea what her brother was doing in there but she would find out soon.
    “ahh Icepaw Wolfpaw come in come in.” Purdy meowed. Icepaw and Wolfpaw walked in and place the food near the elders.
    “thank you for the food we where starving.” exaggerated Mousefur. Icepaw and Wolfpaw nodded and left.
    “so what did you want to talk about?” asked Icepaw.
    “well I wa-” he didn’t finish because Bramblestar called a meeting.
    “I know that this is going to be a surprise to you all but Ticklepaw wants to train as a warrior apprentice. Mazefur has agreed to mentor him until then.” Bramblestar finished. All the cats looked confused.
    “Ticklepaw Ticklepaw!” Icepaw cheered. All the other cats joined in with her. Icepaw looked back at Wolfpaw showing him that she was ready to listen.
    “so how was the first day as an apprentice?” he asked.
    “not the best but it was awesome.” she replied. They went to the fresh kill pile and Ticklepaw joined them they all chose a vole to eat. After they all ate they went in the apprentices den.
    “where do we sleep?” asked Ticklepaw. Icepaw saw that Shadowpaw, Spottedpaw and Mudpaw where already in a bed.
    “anywhere as long as there is room.” Wolfpaw answered. He went to his bed witch was near the entrance. Icepaw and Ticklepaw saw that there was space in between Wolfpaw and Shadowpaw. Icepaw made her bed near Wolfpaw. Ticklepaw made his near Icepaw who was on the right of Wolfpaw and Shadowpaw.
    When Icepaw woke up she noticed that she was the first one up. She got up and walked outside.
    “Icepaw good thing your up I was just about to get you for battle training.” Foxtail told her as he walked up to her.
    “ok I am ready.” she said and started to walk off. Before she got to the entrance her stomach growled. Foxtail laughed a little.
    “you better eat something.” Foxtail ordered. Icepaw walked over and got a black bird to eat. Before she left she saw her brother and sister walk out and went to their mentors. When Icepaw and Foxtail got to the training field they practiced for a while.
    “I want you to land a hit on me or surprise me.” Foxtail ordered Icepaw nodded. Foxtail stood in the middle of the field. Icepaw jumped at Foxtail and he thought she was going to jump on his shoulders. He moved to the left she landed on his back and made him fall over she then sat on him.
    “very good that is enough for today lets head back.” Foxtail told her. She got off of him and they headed back.
    “hey Icepaw guess what?” asked Shadowpaw.
    “what?” asked Icepaw confused.
    “Ticklepaw is really good.” Shadowpaw said jealously.
    “well he is our brother after all.” Icepaw said. Shadowpaw rolled her eyes then walked away.
    “hey Icepaw I have something to tell you!” Ticklepaw called to her.
    “what is it?” asked Icepaw.
    “tomorrow you and Foxtail are going to show me around the territory.” he said.
    “really that is great.” she said and got something to eat. Ticklepaw went somewhere else and Wolfpaw came over to eat with her. After that they all went to sleep.

    “Icepaw I know you the territory well so you will take the lead.” Foxtail ordered she nodded and lead. After they should him around the territory they were practicing battle moves. They learned belly scratch tail biting and jump scratch. When they got back Brightheart and Whitewing came up to them and told them that two new kits where born. The kits are Foxtails and Blossomtails kits. One is male the other is female. Their names are Windkit and Sorekit.
    “can I go see them pleas.” begged Icepaw.
    “yep I will come with you to see my kits.” Foxtail said. The two cats went to the nursery and saw the kits. Sorekit is all gray with white paws and brown eyes. The tip of his tail is white and he has a white eye patch on his right eye. Windkit is a calico cat with blue eyes.
    “they are beautiful kits.” Icepaw said to the parents.
    “thank you Icepaw.” Blossomtail. Icepaw dipped her head politely and left. She was talking to Ticklepaw, Wolfpaw, Shadowpaw, and Hawkpaw when Bramblestar came over to them.
    “you five I have to speech to you about something important.” Bramblestar ordered.
