There I lay just soaking up the sun when that moment happened, the moment that changed my life.
Ugggg! Here he comes again. I am so tired of Mark. He’s such a bully. He’s been picking on people for years but I’m his latest goal. Me the nerd, of course. Even though I have these powers, I can’t fling him to Jupiter or melt him. It would draw too much attention.

haha- what an opening! in five short lines i already want to carry on-superb bit of characterisation of the narrato there, i cant wait to find out all about him
as for advice are you intending this as a dark story, centreing on this abuse and the exploration of this guys powers, or are you going to turn it into a kinda comedy with this nerd trying to keep his developing powers a secret with hilarious consequences- think about it now cos theres nothing worse then an indecisive author
