• Prologue


    A long, long time ago, a young Dragon named Leaf was commanded, by the Dragon, Claw, to watch over all the Magik in the land of Heisa. Before he left her alone with the Magik he taught her how to wield its awesome power. As he was leaving Claw told her that it wouldn't be very hard but, he was wrong.
    Before long the Necromancer, Tyedok, attacked! He brought with him an army of the Living Dead. Leaf had been practicing with the Magik when Tyedok came. The golden-brown she-Dragon defeated the army with ease. During the battle Tyedok received a messenger saying that his heavily pregnant wife had gone into labor.
    Tyedok didn’t even stay to watch the destruction of his army. He whispered a spell and was home. While his son was being born Tyedok laid a curse on him. ‘Nuya, my son, you will have the most beautiful face ever in the land of Heisa but, you will be the most evil person to ever set foot on this land. Your beauty will be the downfall of all your foes. Those who face you will be struck by your beauty and will not be able to bring themselves to kill you.’ His wife listened in horror as he laid this curse upon their son. All she, Kirtana, had wanted was for their son to be happy. Later that night she stole away to tell Leaf and Claw all that had passed that day. Kirtana then returned home in the dead of night and she has been, for many years, a traitor that tells the secrets of Nuya and Tyedok to Claw and Leaf.

    Far away in another part of Heisa, the Elven Kingdom to be exact. Queen Cherry, King Apple, and their daughter Lichen were having dinner while Nuya was being born, when Lichen froze. Her fork fell from her hand and clattered noisily to the floor. She started speaking in a voice that was not hers. ‘There will be Four. The Four will become two. When fire echoes across the battlefield and sand blows through the sky, the Four will cease to exist and the land of Heisa will be forever lost.’ A prophecy made. A curse laid. A princess banished. The world will end.
