in waves of color
on a sunset eve
through clear skies
and a whispering breeze
the land is lit in off red hues
red and orange
pink and scarlet
turns the waking day to a twilight world
and the shadows turn to crimson
as though the hills are bathed in blood
though the earth is peaceful
it looks as much a battlefield
over the red-washed fields
through the battle moved mists
over the blood-run river
and the crimson sunset

As I, the reader, travel through this land inside your mind
I feel the chill -I smell the breeze of the wind that passes by
Can that ocean be a mountain red
As the scarlet of passionate love
Or is it just a trick of the massive sun that is setting above?
Five stars and a fan my dear. I enjoyed that journey. - Report As Spam
