• The year is 1650. What we know as Africa, and America, and even India have fallen under new names. It all started in the year 642, when the late king George Miavoldi held the thrown. The land was rich and lush, prosperous and green, peaceful and joyful, until one night late into the harvest season. It was the night of the new moon, so the sky was dark, and only shadows could be seen. A sentry by the name of Anthony St. Harvold II slipped through the night. Anthony was the chief adviser of the king. on the outside he was a skimpy boy, but his intentions were evil. In the darkness of the new moon, Anthony roamed the grounds until stopping in front of a shabby door. A secret entrance to the bed chamber of the king. Anthony entered the door, shutting it behind him quietly.

Minutes, then an hour pass and suddenly the door is opened again. Anthony is back in the night with an evil grin across his face. He began running through the streets shouting loudly. "Let it been known throughout the land, King George is dead. As he lay dying he told me, 'You shall be pope of all the people. No longer are kings needed, we must fall to the religion.' So is has been said. I am pope." The people of the lands did not want to believe that their beloved king was dead, but since they knew this sentry was the most trusted by their king, they chose to believe him, and so, the dark days began.

The North America and South America of these days were soon overrun by locusts and cockroaches. So the West Lands were evacuated and everyone moved to Maeson(Europe), East Lands (Asia and Australia/New Zealand), and Estonya(Africa). From the day of King George's death onwards, a St. Harvold has ruled over the three provinces. Now we come back to present day, year 1008 of the St. Harvold rule. this year holds surprises, big and small. it also gives five individuals the chance to band together in friendship and loyalty to save the world. the people of this age have never seen a more unlikely group of saviors.

In the town of Johnsburg, Maeson, a heavy mist rolls over the ground. Anyone out in the night wouldn’t be able to see a foot in front of their face. But why would people be out anyway? It was almost midnight. Suddenly the fog lifts, floating away over the rooftops. An owl calls out in the silence and in the middle of town a clock strikes midnight. The bell tolls eleven times, but then it stops. All throughout the town a cold wind whips open doors and shatters windows. They have come. People shoot out of bed and retreat to their cellars and basements. No one wants to get in their way. Who are they, you ask? They are only the most powerful beings of this time.

With the power to morph their bodies into that of a special animal and possessing different skills not held by any other being on earth, they are the Mirage. Made of five members the Mirage has been around for more than a thousand years. Whenever a member dies, retires, or quits, the whole band falls apart so that a new cycle can begin. The Mirage has come to the small town of Johnsburg, on this silent night, to begin the new cycle of Mirage members. Why? Because three nights before, the Mirage member holding the place of Spirit, the leader, Jacques, was killed by Rupert St. Harvold.

Rupert St. Harvold? He holds the place of Darkness. the Darkness holder is there because each element has an opposite. Water is the opposite of Fire, Earth the opposite of Air, and Darkness the opposite of Spirit, better known as Light. Rupert St. Harvold is the great, great, great, great-let's just say 34 greats-grandson of Anthony St. Harvold II. Since the Mirage came into existence to defeat the St. Harvold line, the present pope is always given the place of Darkness, the outcast member of the Mirage, the enemy that the Mirage is trying to defeat.
