• I walked with a slow motion in my feet. Rain was pelting me. Brian walked behind me. "Ashley!" He called. I turned my head to him. "Yes?" I asked. "I thought I heard thunder." Brian said. "Nothing will ruin our walk, just keep moving." I mumbled.

The sky was black before I knew it. BOOM! A huge clap of thunder echoed across the nation. "AHHHHHH!" I sceamed. "Run!" Brian shouted. Lightening flashed before my eyes. "To the house!" I cried nervously. Then a flash of lightening streaked in the sky then it was all over.

I hit the ground hard. I could hear brian scream Ashley. Swirling colors twisted before my eyes. A bright light flashed. Is this heaven? I wondered. No it couldn't be. If it was heaven hurt too much.

I opened my eyes slowly. Brian lifted his head from my mouth. "Ashley are you alive?" Brian asked. "Yup." Was all that I could peep. Brian lifted me up. I shut my eyes as he carried me in his arms.

"She's okay." I heard a rough voice say. I opened my eyes. Doctors sourrounded me. I could see Brian looking nervously over doctors sholders. "Take me home!" I cried. "Let me do the honors." Brian said lifting me and taking me home.
