• Chapter Three

His eye's, his face, his voice. At that second my brain started working. It brought me four years back. When I had just started sixth grade, I was twelve back then. It was my first day at my new school. Highland Junior Academy. I remember, when I first laid eye's on him. The man who caught my heart. The dimple's that first caught my eye. His Bright blue eye's. The face that was in my memory was now staring me in the face.
Just then reality kicked back in.
"What can't be?" he questioned me. Which surprised me, since he heard my thoughts earlier. "This can't be," I said easily, "You I mean."
"I don't understand. What are you trying to say?"
"You mean you don't remember me?" I said trying to hold back tear's.
As I stood in line to buy a Valentine rose, at the school's bake sale. I caught "him" staring at me. The way he looked at me was intense. Those blue eye's turned from caring passion, to ice cold hatred.
As I got to the clerk she asked "Who would you like to send your rose to?"
I replied "Do you mind, If i just buy the rose to give it to the special person myself?"
"Sure, Darling. That's going to be five dollars please," she said as I handed her the money.
Later, that day when I tried to give it to "him". He was nowhere to be found.

"I don't, honestly know what you are talking about," he turned around to sigh.
    Just give up, he thought.[/i
"Ha! I heard that," I knew I had him now.
He let out a sigh of sadness, "Yes, I remember you". He had finally said it.
"Why, Why did you leave me?" I asked hopping for the answer I have been waiting for four years to hear.
"It was true, I did love you, but you were twelve, I was "Twenty-Five"(he made air quotes with his fingers while he said that) ," He let out another sigh.
"You knew I loved you, but why couldn't you return your feelings?" I said bitterly, " But when you finally come back, and let me in you turn me into a freaking vampire"! I raised my hands as I yelled the last bit.
