Foreword: It's taken a long time to write this pictuclar story, stupid writers block. But in the end, I think that it came out all right. I hope you have enjoyed the raw versions of this story and I will post the corrected versions of this series. I hope everyone has enjoyed this series. If you fill the need to comment, please do.
Zombie Mark
Bush and the Meerkats
Part 5
Bush and the Meerkats Negotiate
Bush sat down at the small table in the lobby while Zombie Mark and Jeo-Chan watched while they worked. Sitting at the table across from Bush was Bill, a lawyer friend of Zombie Mark who agreed to negotiate on behave of the Meerkats. He was tall and skinny, short brown hair and glasses. His IQ was almost at genius level.
“So I’m here to address the grievances expressed by my clients, the Meerkat Tribe, by you, Bucket Head Bush, for the mistreatment of the tribe and the murder of several tribe members.” said Bill.
“This is ridiculous. Who ever heard of me mistreating animals?” Bush asked. With that, Jeo-chan, Zombie Mark, the entire tribe, and Bill raised their hands. Then a voice came out from nowhere.
“I know that you mistreat these poor animals, just like you had that poor bird as a box office attendant.”
Everyone looked around, seeing nothing, and then a cloud of smoke rose from the center of the lobby floor. Then Count Kenny stepped out from the smoke, his black cape draped over one arm and covering his face.
“What are you doing here Kenny?” Bush asked.
“That’s Count Kenny you imbecile.” Kenny yelled. “And besides that, I wouldn’t miss this for all the money in the world.”
The smoke started to dispersed once it reached the ceiling, but it set the smoke detectors off, which in turn, set the sprinklers off. The entire lobby started to rain down on everyone. Zombie Mark ran into the back room where he turned the system off. Afterward, Bush told him to start cleaning the lobby and sat back down on in front of the table.
“Ok. Maybe I have been a little mean to the little rats.” said Bush.
“Please refrain from calling my clients rats.” Bill said in a serious tone.
“Fine.” Bush yelled. “What do the little morons want.”
“They want you to provide a place to live, other then a box under the sink. You are to provide them with …..”
Bill went on talking about the demands from the Meerkats, but in the background, no one noticed as Count Kenny snuck back and knocked Zombie Mark on the back of the head with a small lead pipe he pulled from the many folds of his cape. He then snuck over the counter, falling on the floor in the process. He managed to get up without anyone noticing and moved behind Jeo-Chan and hit her over the head with the lead pipe as well. He then stuffed Jeo-Chan into a large green duffle bag, threw her over his shoulder, and started for the front door.
As he got to the negation table, he called out over his shoulder, “See ya later, loser.”
“Don’t come back, dirt bag!” Bush yelled back. “So, I owe them a new place to stay, a three coarse meal for every meal, a 2 hour break every hour, all the free movies they want, triple the pay I give my current employees, three days off per week with pay, three months of vacation time, and a full pension of three hundred thousand for each Meerkats.” Bush looked a little dumbfounded. “Why do they even need money? I mean, their just rats.”
“We’ll add another hundred thousand to their pensions.” Bill said. Bush cursed his bad luck. “Jeo-Chan, talk sense into this moron.” A moment of silence passed. “See. Even she speaks sense.”
“What sense? She never even spoke.” Bill pointed out.
Bush turned around and looked at the concession and saw Zombie Mark lying on the ground with a note on the cabinet that read,
Stay open without your
Best worker now.
She’s now an official
Worker for the Superior
Theater now
Until next time,
Evil Count Kenny
The winner.
Bush rushed over to the counter and grabbed the note and cursed again. “Why did he have to take Jeo-Chan?” he then walked over to Zombie Mark and kicked him in the head. “Why didn’t you save her huh?” He then walked back over to the negotiation table. “Well, sorry, but we’ll have to finish this later. At the moment, I have to find some new employees.”
The End
For Now
Afterword: This last part was a lead in to another story I'm writting called Zombie Mark and the Inglorious Rescue. Inglorious Rescue combines elements of both Bush and the Meerkats and Superior Spy and I think so far is turning into a good story. As for how it wil end at this point, I have no idea. I do have a few scenes I want to put in the new story, but not fully sure on how to get the story to those scenes. I do believe that it will be good anyway, that it will turn out to be the best Zombie Mark story yet. Please leave comments on what you think about this story. I read all of the comments that people leave, and try to use them in my stories if it gives me a great idea or helps to improve my writing. Thanks for reading my story.
