• It's almost time.

She sat there, silent, waiting for homeroom to end and for her to go to the next class. Normally, under any form of circumstances, she wouldn't really care when homeroom would end. She would be doing her first period homework until the bell rang.

    But this time was different.

No, it had nothing to do with her classes. She enjoyed her Algebra and English classes, and there isn't any bad projects that she's hoping to avoid.

    No...it was something else.

Just as she hoped, the bell rang, and grabbing her books, she headed out the door, taking her time, making sure that she seemed normal. Looking up, she saw a young man walk out of the room in front of her.

Yes! I made it! She thought.

The young man was undeniably beautiful. Edward Cullen had nothing against him. Around him were two girls, who might've shared the same classes with him. She hadn't really heard their conversations, but she used to joke to herself that they were talking about her and how shy he was to actually talk to her, since she was very random.

But she knew that it was the other way around. It's not like he knew about her anywhere.

She slowly went on her way, following the hallway to her classes, which was conveniently in the same pathway that he was walking in. As their pathways separated, she quickly ran up the stairway, scared of the fact that he might actually turn around and make eye contact with her.

Why should it be so hard to just talk to him? What's stopping her?
