• I sat there and drummed my fingers about how to get rid of the writers block. There seemed to be no way out of it. The dreaded thing had me in its icy grasp and refused to let go, causing my brain to freeze. I didn't understand what my problem was. Wasn't this supposed to be easy? Shouldn't I have a ride through this? After all I am a writer. It's what I do. There is nothing in this world that means more to me than the feeling of pen to paper or fingertips to key board. I sighed and let out a small moan in frustration. My curly blonde hair fell in heaps around me and my perfectly chewed nails were stairing up at me from my lap. "Don't taunt me. You are already reduced to nubs." I stared back at them but their stairs proved to heavy. I started to chew. I guess you could call it my vice seeing as how when ever I need to calm down and relax, I turn my attention to my nails. I know its a bad habbit but its a tough one to stop. I would more than welcome for you to try and help. "Mrewr" Fluffy, my ferocious white cat clawed at my leg signaling for me to get off my rear end and feed her before she starved. "I know I know. Lets go feed you now." I pushed myself away from the desk and computer that I had been confind to for the last three hours. I closed the laptop that was flashing a white page on Microsoft Word. I could almost hear that darn page laughing at me. I promised my revenge and left the room loudly.

Downstairs I grabbed Fluffy a dish filled with tuna and cheese. "Hun, you know how much I don't want Fluffy to be eating house food. They make cat food for a reason." My mother tapped her foot impatiently and tried to hide a smile. She wasn't any good at it. My mom was pretty tall. She stood at a stunning five nine and was always dressed business attire. "Mom, Fluffy doesn't want that garbage. Just because it looks like a fish doesn't mean it IS a fish." I rolled my eyes and slid into a bar stool at the counter. We only used it for special occasions. "Besides, a princess deserves to eat well."
"Alright hun. What ever you say goes." My mom walked over to me and kissed the top of my head. "I'm off to work. Don't do anything to make me punish you over." And with that my mother was out the door.
"So Fluffy, It's just you and me today." Fluffy let out a quick mew and trotted out of the room. "Or its just me and myself today." I sighed and went into the bathroom. My hair looked as if it had gone through a tornado.
