• Upon these waters, there is much hate.
Within their reach, there are no saints.
    Cursed rivers, and broken seas,
how did this ever, come to be?
Long ago, in the heavens above,
two mighty gods, they fell in love.
As they may, and life forbid,
though not allowed, it still exists.
Their connections they hide, the romance as well.
How can they see heaven, if their blinded by hell?
Both were taken, yet feel no less
thy tears so cold, they cry til rest.
Their sobs were heard, down here on earth
it caused one thing; apocalypse birth.
Floods at dawn, earthquakes at dusk
they saw the havoc, and tried to stop.
Their hearts tortured, their minds confused
    all emotions, took abuse.
The story stops there, they were still in love
I wonder what happened, to those two mighty gods.
There is no ending, and no proof it exists
But I should know, it's more than a myth.
The earthquakes; muffled screams, the floods; their own tears
poor things were living, their own worst fear.
All waters have pasts, this one's quite painful to be exact
though classified as a legend, I believe as a fact.
    Cursed rivers, and broken seas,
a heart-breaking past, that continues to be.
    (finally the ending)

    Two gods, conjoined in one
no longer love, that stage is done.
Secretly feels, the others don't know.
Being a clown, she puts on a show.
Its burning her inside, to know love is gone,
she thought it was real, that he was the one.
He feels no longer, that's all in the past
where she lingers, the pain will last.
Fighting for it back, predicting she'll lose
feeling no love, in various hues.
He's over it now, he won the war
he doesn't know, how badly it tore.
Those words, engraved in my heart
will never leave, will never part.
They are left, as friends as is
    though she wants more,
for her to be loved, will always be a myth.
