Silky Strands
Soft texture against her fingertips. Her hands were small and elegant with long, thin fingers supporting long, trimmed fingernails.
The silky material was almost like a drug to the beautiful woman; like an addiction she couldn't get enough of. The urge to run her hands through the smooth fabric was almost too overwhelming.
It was like smoking; enticing, addicting, and left you with a feeling of being completely calm, with a rush going through your head. Only it was so, so much better than that.
She hugged the round object the silk was attached to close to her chest, her hand running through the thin strands. A low, relaxing humming erupted from her chest. She started to rock back and forth, pressing the object with the silky strands ever closer to herself.
"…mommy's gonna buy you a mocking bird…"
The lullaby seemed awkward and twisted coming from the strange, beautiful woman. "I wanted it, you know." She whispered against the objects side. "I always wanted it. And now, I finally have it in my possession."
She put her hand underneath the object, lifting it up to her face. She placed a soft, gentle kiss on a pair of icy cold, dry lips. She twirled a lock of the silky hair between her fingers, while empty dead eyes stared back at her.
