• It's finally good to be home now that Nathan Sanders and several others were liberated from the ruined town of Rougeport. Mission completed! Now, I should kick back and relax at the base... at least for the time being.

    [me and the others have finally returned to Radnor's base in a safe matter]

    Nathan Sanders: So where is Radnor?

    Me: He's at the battlefield for right now. He probably won't be back since he placed this base under Sarah Valentine's control for the time being.

    Sarah Valentine: Nathan? Nathan, is that you?

    Nathan Sanders: Sarah! [the two approach each other] Where is Radnor?

    Sarah Valentine: He's at the front lines of the battlefield someplace far from here. I have no idea if he'll be back, but there's a null chamber around here ready for use.

    Me: Told ya he's---wait, did you say "Null Chamber"?

    Sarah Valentine: Well, it was badly powered down for a while, but there were some scientists trying their best to reactivate it. Now that it's free from undead corruption, we can travel anywhere else that's present.

    Me: Thank you! I can use the chance for reinforcements!

    Megumi Tekarukite: Hey, what's going on? [she, Noriko, Soren, Baruch, and Shinon walk out to see a group of Rougeport survivors, including her older sister] Ada, is that you?

    Ada Tekarukite: Megumi! Noriko! [she, Megumi, Noriko, and Miriam all meet together, having a small reunion. Even Shizuku and Nomura meet with them]

    Megumi Tekarukite: What happened? You and the others vanished suddenly.

    Miriam Ryan: Well, the undead was overwhelming in numbers since we tried to stay together, but one of the necromancers stunned us, preventing from regrouping. They even summoned skeletal warriors to dispatch us and now the majority of our troops have perished.

    Ada Tekarukite: I thought YOU were still in the other town. I had to take Miriam, Shizuku, and Nomura to the entrance leading to the sewers.

    Megumi Tekarukite: Well, David rescued me along with Soren and Baruch.

    Soren Whisperwind: It was nothing, really. We were trying to escape Barton Town and seek refuge in another surviving town. In doing so, we wanted to incite reinforcements from our brethren and create an army for ourselves to drive the undead and the animated forces out of Barton.

    Ada Tekarukite: My group was in search of surviving citizens and help them evacuate ruined towns since the undead were moving in large numbers worldwide.

    Me: Well, I won't rest until these forces are annihilated completely.

    Baruch van Austins: Same. And I'm not going down without a fight.

    [later...]

    Soren Whisperwind: Good to see you again, man. Was Rougeport a bit too numerous for you since Radnor assigned you that task?

    Me: Nahhhh, I had some help from Antonio Barerra, Jade Watts, and Manfred Goldbeard.

    Soren Whisperwind: Who's Manfred?

    Me: Eh, he and his dwarven men were attacked by the undead in Rougeport, leaving him alone and fewer survivors. Now, he's on our side. Maybe we should convince him to join the combined strength of our clans and even armies.

    Soren Whisperwind: Great idea! Maybe sometime later, I can incite some men of my own since they're all spellcasters... while you muster up your men and give some military training to them. I might have an idea when we settle onto the battlefield.

    Me: Flanking attacks, huh?

    Soren Whisperwind: Well, we should carefully divide our forces whenever we launch an invasion somewhere. Apparently, I'll explain to you later whenever Radnor lets us leave... or even ask all of us to come to the battlefield with him.

    Me: Sounds good. I'd better get the clan now!
