• I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off and got out of bed. I changed into my uniform, white button down shirt, purple tie, purple and black plaid mini-skirt (again, like in anime), white knee-high socks, and brown shoes. I put on a white ribbon with a pink sakura blossom on it in the place a headband would be, other than that, my hair was completely out. I got my school bag and began making breakfast for Ikuto and me. The first day I came here he told me his parents were never home becouse of work, so the house was his. It was that day he offered to let me stay at his house, I was so stupid, I said yes without even thinking. I finished setting the table right when Ikuto came down, still in his pajamas. He was rubbing his eye with one hand and yawning. when he saw me he put his hand down to his side. He blushed a little. He sat down at the table, said "Thanks for the food" and began to eat. I did the same. When we finished Ikuto went upstairs to get changed and I took care of the dishes. I took out the bento boxes I made for us the night before from the refrigorator. I put one in my bag and went outside to the front of the house. Ikuto met me there and I gave him his bento. At one point in class I found myself thinking "Is it already spring? Time passes so quickly with Ikuto. Wait, what am I thinking?! It's an insane idea. A goddess and a human can't be soulmates. Maybe human and human, demon and demon, or even angel and angel. But not human and goddess, it is impossible." The bell rang for lunch and I went up to the roof. Ikuto met up with me there during lunch. Ikuto came up a couple minutes later. He had on a face that was almost seriouse. He sat down very close next to me, so close that you could see that he was almost 2 inches taller than me. I looked into his eyes, and he looked into mine. I blushed and my heart beat fast as Ikuto came closer to my face, he was blushing too. He took hold of my hand the sensation sent electricity throughout my body and it felt like a fuzzy pink haze. I found myself leaning into him too, closing my eyes. He put his other hand around my waist, I put my other hand around his neck. We were doing it extinctivly. My heart was racing, pounding so hard it hurt my chest. Our breath mingled and I didn't even feel anything around me anymore. But before our lips could touch, we heard the door to the roof open and someone say "Look!" We jumped apart so fast it took us a few seconds to find ourselves. I was so suprised that we were about to kiss, and I could see in Ikuto's face he was practically thinking the same thing. We saw a couple of kids in our classes smiling at us. A boy from the newspaper club behind one of the girls said "I got a picture of them! Front page worthy!" He ran down the stairs so fast, if I blinked I wouldn't have seen him leave. "Get back here!" Ikuto said and tried to go after him but one of the girls from our class got in his way. She was also part of the newspaper club "No way! This scoop is the best we've had all month! I can see the front page now 'Ikuto and Snow. Will they win best couple of the year award?'" I got up and put my hand on Ikuto's shoulder "Give it up. The guy is probably already writing the arcticle already." Ikuto seemed to calm down a bit as my hand touched his shoulder. I was worried too, but at the time, all I could think about was what happened to me before these guys came. "A godess and human can't be soulmates! No,no,no!" I thought. But, deep in my heart, I knew it true, Ikuto was my soulmate. I just didn't want to believe it. Even now, I don't know why.
