• I stayed home the next couple of days to heal up. Ikuto took care of me those days. On the last day Ikuto came into my room and asked "Did you mean it when you said I was your soulmate?" I sat up in my bed and nodded "And I am your soulmate. But, this match is a work of a miricale. There has never been two people from differant races soulmates before, it's amazing." He looked at me "Never?" I shook my head "Never. But, first I need to tell you something" I got up, off my bed and hugged him "I'm sorry I put you through that. I'm sorry you got hurt" He hugged me back "It's okay, and if he ever comes back I won't mind beating him up again.............................But I was worried about you" He buried his face in my hair. "Ikuto, what did you think of me when we first met?" "I thought you were beautiful" I shook my head slightly "I know that but there's more isn't there?" He pulled away a bit and I saw him blushing, madly "When I first saw you I thought you were unlike any girl I had ever met. You were beautiful and full of life. You seemed to glow bright like the sun. Even though I was cold, seeing you made me feel warm. I felt like my whole life led up to that moment. That you were the reason I lived. And that's about it." I smiled and kissed him. I don't know when we stopped kissing but we found ourselves hugging while lying down in my bed. Our legs intertwined and our forheads touching. I sat up, it was morning already. Ikuto was still in his clothes from last night. "Morning" he said and sat up too. "Don't we have that field trip to go camping today?" "Yeah, but the bus leaves in 2 hours. Oh wait, did you pack?" I shook my head. "I'll do it now." I said and began to go pack. By the time it was time to go, we were ready to go. We were able to make it to the bus and we sat down next to eachother. The ride was long and eventually I found myself waking up from a nap on Ikuto's shoulder. I lifted my head and asked "Are we there yet?" "Yup" Ikuto said. The bus stopped and our class cheered. Everyone got out and we took got our bags back. The teacher said "We will draw names to see who will be partners. Girls you will pick your boy partner. Remember, this will be your partner for the whole week we will be staying here. You will share a room together so, if you do fight, will get used to eachother and not fight the whole trip. Anyway, Ami"(Ah-me)" your first." The girls infront and behind me giggled and said which boy they wanted to share a room with. I even heard Ikuto's name. When I reached the front of the line I reached into the box and pulled out a random paper and unfolded it. I showed the teacher and she yelled it loud like she did with the girls before me. "Ikuto is Snow's partner!" I walked up to Ikuto and he asked "Did you pick me on purpose?" "Well, I was hoping to have you as my partner, but I picked randomly, I swear on my name" "No need to swear on your name, I believe you" he said. He grabbed my hand and blushed a little. The day was pretty fun, but when night came Ikuto started asking more questions. "Who was that, uh, Ruka?" We were sitting on the bottom bunk bed which was Ikuto's side. "He's the god of fire. He is well known in my world for stalking me." Ikuto pulled a face "Yeah, I'm gunna kill him." I shook my head "You can't, he's immortal." He looked at me "Can't a boy dream?" he said. I laughed. I lyed down on my back on the bed and looked up at the bed above. " Are you a major god?" I shook my head. "I'm sorta in between. Like second place out of three." Ikuto lied down next to me and we turned our heads to look at eachother. "Are there anymore boys that like you" he asked. I looked away and said "Maybe, I don't know. It's not like the other gods call me the second Aphrodite or anything. Eh heh heh heh." Ikuto put his arm around me and pulled me close "If any of 'em try to steal you from me, they're gunna regret it." I sighed "I know" I said. I kissed him, he kissed me back, and we stayed like that for a long while.
