    Prologue

    The Shishi clan, a long forgotten clan of people with a strange ability. The power they had was like no other and many were afraid. The power was not in all the members of the clan sometimes it skipped generations but even if it did the member still had great reflexes and was strong. But one day the Shishi clan just disappeared and the world just forgot about them. But one thing the people could not forget was the Shishi clan’s enemy the Chameleons. In this world Chameleons aren’t the cute little animals you know and love. They are creatures with sharp claws and fangs, they have acid drool that they can spit out and worst of all they can blend into the environment so that the unwary can not see them. They remained and now that the one thing that was holding them back was gone they began to start their reign of terror. For 30 years they stood uncontested What they didn’t expect was that one of the people from the Shishi clan lived and that this boy who knew little about his clan would live to take down various area’s of their longstanding kingdom. He knew little of his clan from his grandfather’s stories and did not have the ability of the clan but even so he was strong and took back many lands with the help from the princess of a land called Akea. He did all of this at the age of 19 which was a great feat for someone so young and many were amazed at his strength. The Chameleons retreated back to their home land and although the people of the country wanted to pursue them and annihilate them forever Rudan just told them no. He would pay for his mistake of treating the Chameleon clan nicely...........







    Chapter 1: The Hero Falls

    tab Thirty years later it was a dark and stormy night. This is a night the people of Akea will never forget. King Rudan was standing with Queen Kaitou looking at their six children while they got ready for bed. “Goodnight children” said the king and the queen. “goodnight” said the children. As they walked down the long halls of the castle Rudan sensed something, “Hold on Kaitou I think something is here” Rudan focused his senses and saw some Chameleons.

    tab Rudan whispered “Kaitou stand back” Rudan stuck out his hand up and made an sword out of pure energy. “I should be able to beat these goons with just this” said Rudan as he charged in and killed the chameleons with powerful blows straight through their armor like scales. As Rudan was fighting, the chameleon’s king, Rugar, came and tried to hit Rudan. Rudan dodged and when he saw who it was his face was filled with dread “Oh no not you” said Rudan terrified about his kids knowing they must be in danger. “Kaitou go to the children, I’ll take care of things here” said Rudan as he sliced a chameleon. The chameleon in back of Kaitou attacked her and hurt her bad. “no get away from her” yelled Rudan as he sliced the air using a move called wind cutter that killed every chameleon in it’s path with a wind sharper then a sword.

    tab “Rudan you sure you want to look away” said Rugar as he sliced Rudan‘s leg and face. "You are gonna pay" growled Rudan. “Taigā tanken, and another Taigā tanken” said Rudan and then two daggers appeared they were smaller but stronger then the simple energy sword Rudan had. “LIKE THIS RUGAR? WELL I‘M NOT DONE YET” Yelled Rudan as he fused the two daggers to gather which made a Lion sword. (I’ll explain later J) “NOW TAKABOU AND KURREN NO SUTAFFU” yelled Rudan. Rudan fused the Takabou, the Kurēn no sutaffu and the Lion sword to make the Kyūkyoku no ken. “Now it is your time to die” growled Rudan as he slashed Rugar with all his strength “Your fate is sealed” said Rudan as he then stabbed through Rugar and sheathed his sword. Rugar fell to the ground but not before he spit an acid blast that was pointed to Kaitou who was almost around the corner of the long hall way “No Kaitou” Yelled Rudan but it was to late! The acid reached her and fatally wounded her. Rudan ran to Kaitou's side in an instant and said “don't leave me Kaitou i need you.” Rudan was too occupied to notice that the Rugar's son Lugar snuck up behind him and….killed Rudan with a stab to the heart!!!! Rudan knew he was about to die so with the last of his energy he grabbed his sword and slashed Lugar in the chest wounding him but missing vitals thus not killing him, but giving him a huge scar on his chest later on when it heals.

    tab The kids in their room heard what was happening outside and they were ready at the door when a chameleon came into the room the oldest kids shot a blast that destroyed the chameleon. The kids did not have much training but they can fend of some chameleons but not all of them. The kids were in a pinch not only was there many chameleons, but they also were running out of power. Suddenly an arrow came through a hole in the window and shot right through a chameleons head. The chameleon was in shock at first but then it fell to the ground and died. A few more arrows came through and killed a couple more chameleons, all shots to fatal parts of the body.

    tab A Person came swinging through the window with bow in hand it was an Archer. The Archer said “hahaha 5 kills lets see you beat that.” Who was he talking to thought the children. All of a sudden a heat wave burned the chameleons until they where burnt like a fish that was in the oven to long. “Are you still trying to do that silly game you always lose” Said a lady Mage. “Of course i just want to make it less boring and who says your going to win this time” said the Archer as he killed three more with one shot. “Well this isn’t a game and I always win that stupid game made bye a stupid person…..you.” said the Mage. “Well at least I’m not a snobby Mage who…..who smells” said the archer in a kid like way. “Will both of you stop arguing and just kill these darn things.” said a swordsman as he slashed through three chameleons with his long sword. The mage and the archer yelled “Stay out of it.” as they both killed some more chameleons.

    tab All three of the warriors Killed as many chameleon's as there are people in a stadium. The prince or should i say the new Chameleon king Lugar who was just looking for treasure sensed a heavy loss of troops and decided to retreat after he found some of the treasure. The kids who was in shock of what just happened. The youngest of the kids asked the warriors “where is our mom and dad.” The swordsman Said in a very sad tone “they died during the attack we didn't come quick enough to save them.” There was a silence in the room as they heard that their parents died. “We are very sorry for your loss.” said the lady mage in a sad tone. “yea sorry” said the archer. There was another long silence which was finaly broken by the Mage “Well looks like you are going to have to come with us” “ok but why” said the oldest kid still a little defensive. “Because the Chameleons will be looking for you” said the Mage with a tone that showed she was not lying.


    A little note: The kids names and ages as well as the names of thier saviours is in the next chapter. Also the names of certain things were Japanese words like Shishi which if you want to know what it means you should look it up it hints to what will happen later on the story wink hope you liked it and tell me what you think.
