"Wizel, bán laoch, wielder an claíomh ársa, a dheonú dom do ghrásta síoraí chun maraigh seo a sceith diabhal." The beast was weakened by the chant and dropped Rowan and Zack. Despite the strong black magic and furious attacks he bombarded Connor with, it did him no harm. "Seo shant Beast is fearr liom! Tá mé Roanoke De Mesa Myra! Diúc na sagairt ard a rugadh!" The beast then swung his mighty arm to strike Connor down. Connor effortlessly jumped on his arm and charged. The beast barely got a chance to retaliate before the blade... cleaved him in two. Connor landed as if he were a feather in a closed room. He sheathed his blade and approached the large, pulsing, black heart that was left behind. With a malicious smirk, he stomped on the disgusting mass of flesh. The hold over him was released, and he realized the name of his sacred power. Roanoke De Mesa.... his great-great-grandfather. Member of the highborn priest. He was slain by a demon who after the murder had been absolved and formed a baby in Mesa's image.... the highborn relived his life as a halfborn, and was shunned by all but his "mother", priestess Myra. When Roanoke was raised, he took both names and absolved his curse. He was human not a day before he met his lover.... his absolved demon.... a makeshift deity of holy power and malice....

Chapter 9 - Let the journey begin!
The glowing swords imploded and they were out without harm. Connor knew the way to some kind of temple now, and for some reason knew that was their destiny to go there, but it would be a treacherous journey. He was ready to save the world from the demonic wraiths, so he set off immediately (after sending the family to a safehouse in the nameless city. After the training from the gods, the party felt ready and strong. They knew they would need the help of the strongest weapon known to each sect of priests... however they did not know what they looked like or even were.

Chapter 10 - The dark forest:
Connor and Rowan were ready for the first obstacle in their journey. However Zack was reluctant. "DARK FOREST!? You know... full of wraiths and demons? No way I'm going in there! I HATE THE DARK!!!" Zack exclaimed in a terrified tone. Rowan placed his hand on his shoulder and soothed him with some encouragement while Connor read through his universal handbook for edible plants and animals. Zack then sighed and agreed. They had arrived and stepped off. Rowan was sent hunting for animals as Connor and Zack harvested different berries and herbs for healing and food. They had run later into a strange image in the dark. It was a door of some sort, with a torch that couldn't be lit normally. "That is quite queer.... could this be dark sorcery?" Connor mumbled to himself once again. Rowan tried putting in a different torch to no avail. Zack shortly afterwards had an epiphany. If flint and steel didn't do it, could mystic embers work? "Stand back guys! I'm gonna try something." Zack said as Connor and Rowan looked ahead, intrigued. "Lasracha Glantacháin an scrollbharra charred, teacht ar mo lámha a fhios agam! Verto!" Zack chanted as flames burst forth from his hands into the torch, lighting it to a blaze. They nonchalantly continued.
