• "UGH!" I yelled as I fell to the icey cold floor. "I told you not to look down." Ark said, helping me up. " How am I not supposed to look down?" I asked, wipeing off snow. Ark tried to cover a laugh, helping me wipe off snow. "You guys need some help?" Ash asked, staring at me snow covered face. I shook my head as Suki held his arm "We're good." I said. He shrugged, still smiling, and went off skating with Suki. Ark helped me up and held my hand. "Don't look down, keep your eyes ahead." Ark instructed. A lot of people were hanging onto the wall to not fall, but some still did. A song was playing, by some person called Mariah, or Alisha, I had no idea. I slipped, almost fell, but Ark helped me up. "Put one foot infront of the other, don't look down!" he yelled as I took a glimpse down. "Look," he said, putting his hand on my waist. "I've got you, so you don't need to look down, okay?" he said. I nodded and did all of the instructions he told me. Soon, I was gliding. Beside me, Ark shivered. He was also covered in snow from all the times I fell and dragged him down with me. "Wanna go take a break?" I asked. "Yes, please." he said. I got him inside, and eventually his shivers died down with some hot coffe too. "How are you not shivering?" he asked me. "Fire fairys." I said. He nearly spit out the coffe he was drinking, but didn't. "What?!" Ark said so loudly some people looked over. "Keep your voice down!" I hissed. I took his arm and led him to a small space where no one else could see. Then, I made a twisting motion with my finger, than a small flame of fire came up, and from it, a tiny fairy with fire for hair, a red dress, and fire for wings. She had big beady red eyes and long ears. "The effects only work for a couple hours though." I told him. "Can you do it to me?" he asked. Before I could answer him, Suki and Serenity were calling "Ark!; Canaan!; Where are you?" Just as they looked in the small space, I got rid of the fire fairy and kissed Ark to make it look like we were doing that the whole time. Ark didn't have a problem with it, in fact, I could tell he was happy about it. "Oh! Uh, sorry." Suki said, embarresed. I pulled away from Ark, who seemed to be in a blushing daydream, "And after all the times we've kissed, really?!" I thought. "It's okay." I said. "Well, we'll leave you two alone now." Kazune said, and they left. "Ark?" I asked. He just kept on smiling. I twisted my finger and came up a icicle, and from that came a tiny snow fairy. Her skin was icey blue, so was her hair, dress, eyes, and wings. "Freeze him please." I told her. she blew an icey cold wind to him. "Whoa!" he said as small icicles began to form oh his hair and eyelashes. "Thank you." I told her, and she left. "What was that for?!" he hissed. "For going into a daydream, what was that about?" I asked. "You haven't realized how small a space we're in?" he asked, blushing a bit. "Huh?" I asked. I moved around a bit, and realized I was pressed hard against Ark, but not hard enough to be stuck. "Oh." I said. "Uh, yeah." Ark said. "We should go." I said, sliding away. "Yeah, okay." he said, a bit dissapointed. We skated a bit more, I fell a couple times because I looked down and lost my balance. After a couple bruises, I settled down on an outside benches. Ark kept iceskating. "Hey you." a voice said behind me. I turned to see 4 teenage looking guys. The three were behind the one that was an unknown. The unknown had black hair and golden eyes, and a black lip ring. He had on a black coat and black pants. The three guys behind him looked all about the same age, one had blond and hazel eyes, one had glasses, red hair, and green eyes, and one had light brown hair and brown eyes. The red head had on a grey jacket, the blond had on a brown coat, and the light brown head had on a black coat, same as the unknown. I looked at them then looked away. "Now what is a fine young girl like yourself doing sitting all alone?" the unknown asked, sitting way too close to me. "Got bruised up." I said, hoping he'd go away, but instead the he just put his arm around me. I flug it back off. "Fiesty, I like that." he said seductivly, reminding me of Cloud. I shivered at the thought of him. "I'm Seth, the red head is Keenan, the brown head is James, and the blond one is Jes." Seth, the unknown one said, his dog ears twitching a bit. "What's yours, sweetheart?" he asked. Memories of Cloud crept through my skin. "None of your buisness." I said. "Don't be like that." he said, leaning in. Than, a thought occured to me "Why am I just sitting here, being hunted by these perverts?" I thought. "Get out of my face." I growled. "Now, why would I do that?" he asked, leaning in. Before I could punch him, I was cut short by Ark's voice "She said get out of her face!" Ark said from behind me and pushed Seth away. "Ark!" I said, surprised. Ark pulled me out of my seat and put me behind him, gently though. "Who are you?!" Seth yelled. "I'm her boyfriend, idiot. Now, if you guys don't wanna get your asses kicked, I suggest you get out of here now." Ark, threatened. "Come on, Seth." Keenan said. Seth scowled "This isn't over!" he yelled as he and his gang left. "It never is over, is it?" I heard Ark mumble under his breath. "I'm sorry." I murmured. He turned, looking guilty "Hey, I didn't mean it like that. You can't help how unbelievebly beautiful you are." he said, placing a gentle hand on my cheek. "But, it's still my fault." I whispered. "No, it's not." Ark said calmly. "Liar." I thought. "Okay." I said. "Go with it, at least for now." I thought. "Liar. You're not going to let this go, are you?" he asked. I smiled a bit "You'll know when the time comes." I said, and walked away a bit. "Oh, and thanks for saving me." I said, turning around for a second. I stepped on the ice and immediatly fell, ruining my whole cool exit thing. Ark began cracking up behind me. I stood up and began gliding on the ice. "Hey, Canaan, you're not falling!" Serenity called. I smiled and waved. She smiled and waved back. Suddenly, I found myself looking at the floor and begining to fall. Than I found myself in Ark's arms. "You fall a lot, you know that?" he asked, teasing. "I'm not as bad as I was before!" I said. He laughed, but not in mockery. "Isn't it dangerouse to hold someone while skating?" I asked. "Don't worry, I'm pretty good at this." he said. "How much longer will it be until you tell me everything?" he asked. I kissed him on the cheek "Soon." I said, and it started to snow.
