In a bloodied scene along side a long forgotten area along the sea, a pure white tree began to bloom. It blossomed quickly, far beyond anything natural. Its branches spread far along the seaside, twisting around each other it a beautiful dance of the supernatural. It branches dipped into the water below. Thick roots could be seen above the sand.Roots which fed off the sin and blood of the area.
It spiraled some eighty feet in the air, perhaps higher, and held a young woman in one of its many branches.
Her eyes opened within seconds, her eyes dark, intelligent, and very aware for someone risen from the dead. Her pitch black hair was limp and damp against her head. A mess due to the fact it was slicked from a past victim's blood. It hardly mattered who anymore, faces of the dead swarmed her vision for a moment before her vision returned to the place she herself had died. Guilt for them however was nonexistant. She'd do it all again without hesitation.Everything.A giggle escaped from her lips.
The woman had a large tattoo over her left eye and wore a previously extravogant gown that was stained, her formally white gloves ruined. She gracefully climbed down from the tree which contrasted greatly from the woman. When she lightly landed on the ground, she bent to retrieve her now antique revolver, grinning all the while.Being insane didn't stop her from feeling joy at her revival. She stood up again and closed her eyes, and began to laugh, relishing at the new hunt, at living once again...that is until she was quickly cut off through a knife through the mad woman's back.
A man in the peak of youth had aproached her stealthily armed with a long butcher knife encarved with the words “Retriever of the Damned”.It was hard to guess he was a man, his features were blurred to make it hard to realize the figure was human. Well, as human as he could be. Few mortals would even see him at all, let alone guess his gender.
He pulled out the blade with a soft snick and wiped it clean with a black cloth. The boy walked to the sacred oak and placed his palm against it's bark, sending into the ground. After the marvel has sunk he spun around and knelt to the ground, putting his hands together in prayer. White wings spread out from his back, splaying feathers in every direction. Spreading them, he took flight, taking descent back unto heaven.
Before he disappeared he spoke five simple words,”Every sin has its price.” It went unspoken the woman had paid dearly.

- This sounds like a really neat idea, and your imagery is very good. I would suggest you watch out for repetition in your word choice though. For instance; "Her eyes opened within seconds, her eyes dark, intelligent, and very aware for someone risen from the dead." Would sound better if it were just "Her eyes opened within seconds; dark, intelligent, and very aware for someone risen from the dead." You don't need to specify who's eyes they are more than once in one sentence.
