    Looking out to the far north, past the darkest of seas and skies is a place where danger fills the air. This place is known to have the most dangerous creatures, but not all are dangerous. This place is called Mortallia, and this is place is also called where the Griffins Roam. As the clouds pass by the light griffin fur, she look to see if her friend was catching up and like always she wasn’t. Dew stop and waited for her friend a dark brown griffin with eyes like green emeralds that were just found. The dark brown griffin looked at Dew and said,” Dew, you need to slow down you know I can’t fly as fast as you.”
    The light colored griffin laugh and circle around her friend once before, flying next to her. She turned her head and said,” Oh Mint, You know I wish to slow down but I just can’t help it. You know I’m the only griffin with the fastest wings ever, and you know what that means.” Mint sighed and whacked her friend lightly. She then flew ahead and looked back at Dew,” Yeah, Yeah stop bragging that you're the fastest around here Dew, now come on we need to go hunting before sun down or the elders will get mad again like last time.” Dew caught up to her friend and said,” Yeah, yeah let’s go and hey I know the Perfect place to hunt that has the best prey. Follow me Mint!”
    She then Flew off fast and Mint slowly followed her from behind. Dew then slowly descended from the sky above and landed on rocky, grassy lands with huge oak trees. “ Come on Mint!” Dew said as she waited for her friend. Then the dark griffin female landed next to Dew and looked around. Mint had never seen such a place before and then she realized where she was, she was in the forbidden lands.” Dew! This place is the Forbidden lands, We are not suppose to be here! Or even hunt here for no matter!” The light colored griffin sighed and walked ahead of her friend saying,” Yeah I know idiot, but where do you think I'm keep getting all the fresh looking deer from. I wouldn’t even touch my beak on those rotten animals that live near us. They all look like they just fur and bones, but here all the prey look like they are filled with meat. So mint you can fly away and be tattletale you are or We can get to hunting some delicious prey.”
    She looked at her friend and Mint sighed. She went ahead of Dew and decided to look for prey.” Now thats the spirit Mint, I’ll meet you back at the mountain Forest, with the kills we get.” Dew flew off in a different direction from Mint, and Mint decided to hunt. After a long while Dew and Mint went back home carrying a huge deer in their beaks and carrying another on their back. They flew where all the griffins gather to eat and many faces turn to look at dew and mint.” Oh wow look what they hunted and found.” One griffin said, and some other griffin we talking about the same thing. Mint place the two deers she hunted in the killing pile as well as Dew. “ Aww it seems, you two have found great prey, you may share with me and the elders today.” said a white griffin with pure black eyes. Dew turned around and saw it was one of the elders, of the Griffins. His name was Cast, he was strong and was one to be feared the most of all the griffins. “ Now Come, Dew take one of the deers you killed with mint and meet me and the other 3 in our den now!”
    Cast flew off and Dew grabbed a deer with Mint and flew off to the elders den. They place down and looked at each other, then at the elders. One elder was name Mid, she was a light gray griffin with striking yellow eyes, and huge wings. Another elder was a small multi brown colored griffin with silver eyes and he was named Little Goat; and last one was Cast the pure white griffin with pure black eyes. “ We take our share and then you may take yours. Now tell me Dew and Mint some interesting news…..if there's any.” Little Goat said as he looked at the two young griffins. Mint went up and said,” Well I heard my mother is growing another child. She doesn’t know if it be a boy or a female. If its female she going to name it Oak and if its a boy she going to make the name Spitz.” Mint said as she looked to her friend for her to say something.
    Dew looked at Little Goat and said,” What I have to tell is…” She then heard Yowls of griffins outside and another type of yowl. Dew, Mint and the elders went outside and look to see a different creature like no other getting surround by her own kind. Dew couldn’t help it but fly down fast and lands in front of the creature and looked to the other griffins.” Dew! there….she goes again helping another creature thats not a griffin.” Mint sighed and flew down with the elders. Dew turned her griffin head to the creature the look like Sphinx, which is half cat, and half snake.” Please.. don’t hurt me I was only looking for something to eat, I didn’t know it belong to you don’t hurt me!” said the creature and all the griffins got close by Dew stands her ground in front of the Sphinx. “ Dew, move out of the way now! You know are rules we kill everything thats not griffin! Now Move!” said Cast said and Dew still stands her ground. She had the eyes of a killer, but they looked innocent as well.” Why, must we keep killing this Sphinx had done nothing to us, Why must we kill everything thats not US!” Dew was angry, she hated killing creatures or monster that weren’t like them. She had to do something, because she doesn’t want see blood shed. Mint went up to her and says softly,” Come on Dew, this isn’t you….we have to kill that creature. Those outsiders killed your parents remember? and plus we don’t want to kill you too. Your my friend, and the best hunter here….now please let us kill that thing!” Dew was ashamed of what her best friend was saying...as well what she was saying.
    Dew looked at her friend with lying eyes with a fierce fire. She still stands tall and protects the other creature. She looks around at each of the griffins and then at the elders.” I been keeping this all from you from a long time...but first I always hated every single one of you, expect mint since I was created into this world. Each day I been living a lie all my life, and I might as well tell you all my secrets. Since from this day forward,....I’m going to leave the griffins!” Griffins yelled and yowled, Dew continue,” I always helped the outside creatures that you were going to kill the next day, I help them escape. Another thing My kills...My prey I always killed them in the Forbidden parts of our lands! and The biggest secret of all I killed my parents, those creatures didn’t. Don't you all remember my parents were mad, and they tried to kill me! Those creatures tried to protect me! Thats when I realize all of you and including me are monsters sent from beneath Mortallia!” Dew stopped talking and saw murderous eyes of all of her kind staring at her. She then heard a scream behind her and saw that the sphinx was killed by two of the elders Cast and Mid. Dew eyes were filled with rage, she turned around quickly and went to attack one of them but Little foot landed on her and stopped her from attack. “ Oh Dew, you never learn and sorry about your little creature here but you know the rules. We are going to deal with you right here and now.” Little foot looked at the elders and nodded. Elders flew up and all the other griffins went to give her a little lesson. After a while went griffins went back to their dens to sleep. The elders looked at Dew and flew back to their sleeping quarters. Dew could move but barely. “ I wish they killed me off, I would love to be dead right now, more than being alive.”
    Mint looked at her injured friend and slowly went over. “ Dew…...I’m sorry I couldn’t help but hey I can..” Mint stopped talking when her friend looked at her with distrust look and sorrow. “ Mint, I thought you be on my side…..I trusted you. I do not want these wounds healed, until I kill one of the elders tonight! As well Mint...I'm going to leave this place and never return.” Mint rushed over to Dew and said, “ You can’t Dew you mustn't!” Dew knocked her friend down as blood still dripping from her wounds. Dew said nothing but she flew off and left her friend behind with tears flying down her face. She Flew up to the elders den and saw everyone asleep. Dew Slowly went over to Little Foot Body and with no hesitation she killed with a deep bite into the next and slashing out his heart. She saw the other elders look at her with fear but they were also pissed since Dew killed one of their own. Dew quickly flew off and they followed to a certain point when Dew flew over the forbidden lands.
    She turned her head and saw that she was far away from her homeland, but Dew kept flying. She wanted to get far away from this place possible and start anew but now that she is gone and going to live the life she wants to she still feels like she’s missing something. Oh thats it….she missing a companion but Dew couldn't trust her….She had to leave her behind. After awhile she stopped flying when she saw a new land. She flew down to a weird sandy, rocky beach and looked around seeing nothing at all. Dew wonders if this is the place she will start a new life or it might end up in pieces of hell like Mortallia her home.
