- Name: Vincent Johnathon De'Cilio
Alias: Blackheart, Cain, Johnny, Vince, Vin
Gender: Male
Race: Human, Durem
Age: 25
Birthplace: Southside Durem
Profession: Lead singer, rhythm guitarist for Raising Cain
Marital Status: Single
Personality: Vincent is, without a doubt, a hedonistic, unrepentant b*****d. That isn't to say he's a bad guy, just a bad boy. He's drank himself under the table, and then pulled himself up to snort a line of coke and go wandering around Durem just because he had the money to get the drugs. Full to the brim of bad habits, and more than willing to get others in on it. He enjoys people, insofar as much as he loves attention, and loves to party and be in a crowd.
His morals are notoriously loose, and he has little qualms about stealing or sleeping around, but has enough humanity in him to try and avoid killing. But when drunk (and this is pretty often), he won't hesitate to jam a knife in someone's chest. But he'll sure feel bad about it when he sobers up. He isn't a jaded cynic who hates humanity - he just wants to have a good time, and thinks others ought to if they'd just cut loose and drink more. A lot more.
Born and raised in Durem, technology and magic arcana do little to bother him, and non-humans don't really bother him. In fact, he's more than likely to fiddle around with things that he shouldn't, just out of the need for a thrill - this could range from a giant laser, to a strange, magical artifact, to trying to skydive out of an airplane naked.
Part of his "good time" philosophy (if you can call it that) is encompassed in the fact that he's constantly laughing, jeering, and sneering at almost everything. He takes nothing serious, and the people around him even less. Irreverent, disrespectful, and willfully ignorant of any authoritative figure, Vincent knows when to quit, he just doesn't care to. He puts some stock in "tit for tat", so returning the favor rarely draws ire from him. In fact, anger is a rare sight - you have to make fun of his mascara, his music, or take his drugs to piss him off.
All in all, Vincent is pretty much a wreck of a human being with loose morals and no respect for authority that can border on being petulant, but at least he isn't a psychopath. Right?
Height: 6'0''
Weight: 168 lbs
Appearance: Vincent's appearance could be described as similar to the L.A. Sunset Strip scene from the 80s. His features manage to border on wild and full to the breaking point with male sexuality, without being rough or brutish. In fact, at first glance, he could even be considered a little soft - but at a second, it's apparent he's just a tad feminine because of the long hair and occasional mascara. His features are youthful and expressive without being boy-ish. His features are symmetrical and he would probably be considered handsome by most.
His hair is worn long and teased up, dyed a murky black, and his eyes are naturally lapis-lazuli blue, with a hint of gold flecks. He sports a few earrings sometimes, and has even been seen with a bit of make-up while on stage. He has a numerous amount of tattoos, amounting to full-sleeves on both arms and a giant tattoo of a 'Suicide King' playing card on his back. For his full-sleeves, the 'filling' (small symbols used to fill in the skin between the major pieces of the sleeve) are the symbols for the Lucky Charms cereal. No s**t.
Body-wise, he's around average height, and has little enough fat on his body that he appears fairly 'defined', but not really ripped. He has enough muscle to be considered decently athletic, but nothing like a professional fighter. More like someone who's just lived pretty rough, or maybe likes to play sports or hit the gym every so often. A little long in the legs, but nothing out of the average. Not all too strong, but he's pretty quick on his feet, and more than a little squirmy - getting him pinned down is an accomplishment.
Clothing: He doesn't really have an 'outift', and his clothing can change pretty much at random. He usually sticks with denim and leather, and likes wearing a lot of belts, studded and spiked things, and a lot of other gaudy s**t. He often dons an officer's cap reminiscent of the German Officer's from WW2, but it's not really clear where the hell he got it. Sometimes he wears considerably less clothing than would be suggested by most law enforcement. It wouldn't be surprising to see him wander around in his boxers, if he had just woken up in a strange place.
Armor: Some of his studded and spiked stuff could be considered armor, same with most of his boots. Sometimes he wears a Kevlar vest, but much liket he WW2-styled hat, it's not entirely understood where he would have even gotten it. It's assumed he just.. bought it, or got it while on tour. He doesn't remember where he got it. He just likes wearing it.
Weapons: For the sake of security, he usually carries a broom-handle machine pistol, a pair of brass-knuckles, and a couple of knives, ranging from Bowies, to boot knives, to switch-blades. Sometimes a taser. It really just depends, but he doesn't really carry much in the way of heavy-duty weapons, since he isn't much of a warrior. More of a brawler. One of his more common weapons is a steel guitar pick, or the electric guitar itself, which can turn into a rather large axe. Don't ask why.
Misc: Lots of alcohol, drugs, smokes, a few lighters, a wallet, condoms, and probably other s**t no one cares about. Some jewelry and every so often, a laser pointer. What he does with the thing is a mystery. Probably dicks around while he's coked up.
Abilities:
Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast: A life of excess has made Vincent almost supernaturally tough. He has - literally, in some cases - drank himself into and out of the grave more times than he could ever count, and this constant meandering from living high to dying low has given him a bit of a toughness. Chew him up and spit him out if you like, but don't expect him to be easy to grind down.
Kickstart My Heart: Assuming someone actually manages to kill Vincent, and his body can be healed, he is very, very easy to bring back. This is because he's been resuscitated, revived, and brought back from the brink (and often times over it) so often it's like second nature to get the paddles to the chest and pop up after a few minutes. Defibrillator him, give him a bottle of Jack, and he'll get up in a few minutes.
Primal Scream: Part of being a (damn good) singer, is the utility one's voice gains from it. For a born and bred Gaian, this utility can sometimes be used for something a little more useful than breaking wine glasses at fancy parties. Once every three posts (up until doing it three times), Vincent can let loose a ground-shaking scream that, at close ranges, can disorient the hell out of someone, and even knock them off their feet with an almost shock-wave like quality.
Wild Side: The more he drinks, and the more drugs he does, the tougher he can be to fight. This is mostly because he gets rowdier, meaner, and punching him in the jaw is only going to make him laugh and spit blood back in your eye. Doesn't mean he's less susceptible to damage, just that he's a lot harder to handle.
Dr. Feelgood: Vincent can do "normal people" s**t like drive a car and use an ATM. He can also play the guitar pretty damn well. He also knows how to score drugs and hide from the authorities pretty well. Not that surprising, is it?
