It used to be that your touch warmed my heart.
It used to be one word from you made me happy from the start.
I remember when you used to say I love you and it was the only truth I knew.
But now I love you doesn't mean the same as it used to.

The thought of your touch brings tears to my eyes.
The thought of you speaking fills my head with lies.
Don't say 'I love you' because it hurts so much.
Because knowing you love him too tells me I wasn't enough.

I wasn't enough to hold you.
I wasn't enough to love you.
My touch wasn't warm enough to satisfy.
