K, first, I've been drawing on my Cintiq more now. Yay me. Still drawing on my old sketchbook though. Yay me more. Drew a sub-mascot character on my Cintiq calld Sysbit. I like her. Might see her more in my works, though they have to have something electronic in them since I'm tying her to electronics (namely computers). Might post her here and see what people's opinions are - dunno. Sketchbook filled with character sketches. I'm happy. Yay. (can you detect my sarcasm as I post this? Yea, I was a lot happier and more wordy before the incident)
Got an 8GB flash drive. It's new. Replaced my old, shitty, 2GB which was really slow. So bigger space, bigger drive, faster speed - Yaaaaay
If you haven't checked out my profile, because you're a *insert-nice-happy-words-here*, then you haven't noticed the changes. My characters are finally finishing being developed, which makes me so happy that they're finally their own individuals. And I'll be posting them around the forums and on my profile. Because they're awesome... Maybe might get a buncha fans for them - or at least the girl, for what will be obvious reasons. (Hint, she's a succubus. Look it up if you don't know the word.)
Got some new mannequins on their way here. Male and female. Tired of these horrible wooden mannequins with their crappy-littletono-moveable joints. Can't do barely any poses with these things and I need all the help I can get. Nice new models coming from Art S. Buck. Yayz.
Saw some new Miyazaki movies thanks to my friend Kyna. She let me borrow some DVDs. Don't know who Miyazaki is? He is the leader of Studio Ghibli and created films like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. Don't know/never seen any of those? You fail at life and should probably go play in traffic. Since I don't have the patience now, I'll just post my quick opinions. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: Okay, but really didn' like it. First film Miyazaki did and it shows. Hell, he graded it himself and only gave it a 67/100. Too many plotline/plot elements left unanswered. Reminds me of Jade Cocoon, who ironically was worked on by a now Studio Ghibli artist. It's based on a manga of his, though, and I should probably read that to get everything I want answered - because Miyazaki had to try and fill all these volumes into 2 hours - and it can't freakin be done. The Cat Came Back: Not Miyazaki's, but actually a partner of his. Enjoyed it a lot more than Nausicaa. Funny characters, enjoyable story, girl was freakin WHINY in it. Though... still attractive. Porko Rosso: I would have sex with this movie... It was that good. ******** go watch this NOW! Veoh, Crunchyroll, Youtube, ANYWHERE... Just go watch it! Great story, great character design, great jokes, great world. Everything was great. This was the stuff that made me fall in love with Miyazaki. More adult oriented than My Neighbor Totoro, but I don't care. And the ending was just awesome - it's an ending you have to really follow the storyline and take notice of previous scenes to get, it isn't just handed to you in a "Here you go dumdum" fashion.
WoW account got hacked/stolen. Waste of a life even got into my email and switched the account from mine to his. Asswipe... If you play WoW, get an Authenticator. I have all this security, don't visit anything retarded, and definitely don't tell anyone my account info. Now lookit me, having to scramble to get this back up and runnin.
On new meds - Strattera - to see if these will help with my focusing problems. Granted they're samples, so not really on them yet, but might one day. Still dunno if they're doing anything though - I hope I'm not actually retarded. Further in school I get, the dumber I feel, and it's embarassing.
