I had an assignment in english to write a creative piece about the word "madness" (I picked the word) and here's what I got~
Here's the day you hoped would never come
He arrives at your door
It's just more bad news to the country
but it's the end of the world for you
Pouring down rain
The man you've expected for three years now
Steps into your home
He does not speak
He does not sit
He only stares into your eyes
Reflecting back the pain and horror you feel welling up
Your knees begin to crumble
Your soul begins to fade
This man does not catch you
This man lets you fall
You give a wimpering sound
start sobbing
and begin the lamenation
of your lost love
Familar footsteps come pounding down the stairs
as soon as they see this man
they know
as you knew
One wispers
"Mommy?"
And the man walks out the door
into the rain
and Speeding Cars
on goes the madness.
cool huh?
I really kinda like it biggrin
it's about a man comming and telling a family that their dad has died in active duty
so much of that going around, figured it fit
I wrote so many other things before I got this one
hope the teacher likes it
TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK
thanks~
oh and I need a title, I was thinking of Squad 9, but I suck at naming things, sooo~~
