Can a heart still beat when it's so badly broken?

My parents have been trying to adopt from Russia for a very long time- 2 and a half years! They came back home after a week and a half with my new sister on May 18. 4laugh She's adorable! Her name is Julia. She doesn't know any English. She is strong and loves sports. Her favorite color is purple. She loves to sing and dance. She can't play piano, but likes to make it up as she goes along. I know, she did it for 3 1/2 hours yesterday when I stayed home "sick". wink We do not have a translater with us, but I got some new presents! I now have a t-shirt with Hard Rock Cafe on it in Russian. On the back it has the same thing, but there are bullet holes and spray paint on it to show why it closed.
