try and talk about exactly what you like about the
picture; is it the hair? the eyes? the
background?
if you are critiquing, start with
something you like about the picture, then mention
specifically what you don't like. (eg. the hair is

This is a very beautiful picture. The dress has a
nice style with the belt, and the hair--well, its
just great! But my suggestion to you is that you
put at least something (anything from a wallpaper
design to even a few scribbles) in the background
to make her wings stand out more; the outline of
the wings is the only thing that indicates she has
wings. If you don't know what to put in the
background, light blue shading would be nice. Keep
