-
Outside, it is cold...
Dad's building a fire
Mom's making cookies
We've already put up the tree
At the next big snow fall,
We will make a snowman
Every year it's the same
In my house,
There are no more children
It was more festive when I was young
With talk of Santa
Rudolph is in the distance
And we are dancing in the snow
This Christmas will be one to remember
For this year we will have children
Snow angels, snowmen, and snowball fights
But best of all we will have family
On this years beautiful Christmas night

- Title: This Christmas Night
- Artist: ToxicKandyKid
- Description: My younger cousin (7) will be coming up from Florida to see his first Ohio Christmas. My mom is very excited to have a child here again, so that she may convince him that Rudolph is in the distance. When my brother and I were little, she would point at the towers in the distance with the blinking red lights and say "Hurry and get to bed, there's Rudolph, Santa's coming!" and my brother and I, sure enough, would run into our rooms and hide under the covers, usually pretending to be asleep.
