• once upon a time, in a far-off land-no wait. no, it was here. anyway, there were a bunch of americans, exept they werent americans, since it didnt exist back then. it was close, though. they were colonists. sometimes they called themselves americans. anyway, they wernt americans because they were english, which would be wierd today. they didnt want to be english, cuz they were taxed too much, and that really ticked them off. they boycotted tea, but the governer of boston insisted that it was shipped into boston harbor anyway. the sons of liberty, a group of rebels, however, had other plans. when the tea came that night, they climbed on board dressed as indians and broke open the tea chests and spilled it all into the harbor. that ticked the british dude's off, so they snuck out in the middle of the night to attack another town, but paul revere found out and started riding towards the town on his horse saying "the british are coming the british are coming!" and we had a battle. that started the american reveloution, which, if im correct, we won. go america! biggrin
