• Another day, another poem...
    And yet I still feel so alone,
    As if this world has kept you hidden from me,
    From my knowledge, from my dreams.

    But I'm so glad we found each other,
    thanks to our friends, as well as our Mothers...
    Whom gave us life, gave us breath,
    Began our life, until our death...

    I wish I could just hold you,
    Even for just a night,
    Just so I could be with you,
    Until the next day's light...

    I can't speak of my true emotions,
    Except to say 'I love you'...
    So I write these poems, these soothing potions,
    I hope they show you that I do...

    It doesn't matter how far we are,
    Because we'll always be in each other's heart.
    But when we do meet, I want you to know,
    I will never let you go...

    I will hold you when I can,
    Kiss you when I get the chance...
    Tell you I love you when I wish,
    and swim through your veins like an elegant fish...

    Erika, I don't know the words to say,
    To tell you how I feel each day...
    But trust me, I will always love you,
    And when we die, I'll die happy having lived with you!
