The seven seas of nought
Beckon this ship
As distant lights flicker,
become nothing.
Darkness encircles us,
The world fades out,
Nothing surrounds the ship,
Nothing is real.
Existence is no more
Save for this ship,
Nothing encircles us,
Nothing is there,
Home no longer exists,
No port of call
And yet we still sail on
Into nothing.
Everyone on this ship
Will fade away,
When we flicker like stars
We are reclaimed.
And so this last pocket
Of existance
Will fade, and fade, and fade.
Nothing exists.

- Title: The Seven Seas Of Nought
- Artist: Diabolik Dreamer
- Description: This is a poem that was inspired by my time on a ferry, when I looked out from the deck at night and saw nothing at all. There was just blackness all around, nothing in sight. This is the result.
