• The sun sets,
Its light reaching out in hues of orange, red and yellow,
Trying to grasp me and drag me down with it.
    My tears fade,
Drying in whats left of the sun,
Aching and stinging as they pass.
    My heart breaks,
A knife cutting deeply into it,
Leaving a scar that shall never pass.
    My blood seeps,
Seeps from the openings in my lilac skin,
Reaching across the ground towards the sun.
    His eyes smirk,
The gun in his hand glinting in the fading light,
    A menacing beauty surrounding it.
    My life ends,
    Yet forgiveness does not stray,
For my heart shall forever yearn for him.
    Even past death.
