• Life will whisper,
    life will crawl;
    till it finds its way,
    to the devils shawl.

    Moonlight serves,
    to moderate the night.
    As shadows in day,
    skewer the light.

    Unending slumber,
    writhes and twists.
    Fleeing away,
    from death's cold grip.

    Darkness moves,
    in a dance with light.
    Shining through,
    unending night.

    The songs of silence,
    played at night.
    Heartbreaking melodies,
    weaved from light.

    Heavens music,
    heard all around.
    Angels crawling,
    wings on the ground.

    A heart of good,
    traded in.
    Corrupted completely,
    so darkness wins.

    Mind over matter,
    light over dark.
    A slip in morality,
    leaves soul felt marks.

    Knotting guilt,
    holding you down.
    Till you join the angels,
    still on the ground.

    Shadows moving,
    twisting perceptions.
    Daylight streaming,
    giving the shadows directions.

    Light and dark,
    they co-exist.
    Neither survives,
    without the others kiss.

    You can try to,
    give hell a miss.
    And aim for heaven,
    but will you still miss?

    Heavens gates,
    firmly closed.
    Open up,
    for no foes.

    Time is short,
    waste it not.
    Just one lifetime,
    you have got.

    A step in life,
    or closer to death?
    Which one are you?
