In a dark dark room
With a dark dark light
In the middle of a dark dark night.
I cannot see, it is not light.
I step out of bed, and head for the stairs.
It's dark, I'm scared.
I walk down the hall, and in too the loft.
I trip on the couch, it's soft.
I get right back up, and look for the stairs,
It's dark, I'm scared.
I can't find the light switch to this place,
Because I'm in a dark dark room,
With a dark dark light,
In the middle of a dark dark night.
I head down the stairs,
Gripping the railing,
I tumble and shout,
But no one answers.
I head to the kichen,
It smells like pizza,
I run into the wall,
And stumble and fall.
I reach up I heard a sound,
It was the stactic of the light flicking on.

- Description: Lol this is a poem my sister has been working on for days, shes 8 so give her a break if you don't like it. I thought it was pretty clever for her age. I love the pizza part! I'm hungry now...

- you know, for eight, that's pretty good. All I remember my eight year old niece doing is trying to think up words that rhyme and to be able to spell it right. Kudos to your sister!
