i asked the devil
for a nickel
in hopes to make a dime
he glady gave it over
and annouced
"Your Soul is Mine"
he thinks that
he's tricked me
not knowing
my soul is empty
a possession that
i'd surely give
just to
feed my kid
worthless and hollow
he can have it any time
and, i'd gladly do it again
just to make a dime
