Be not sad, for those that dwell no more,
Though your heart cannot help but sore.
You cry, you plea, for them to waken,
Though naught can change, once they've been taken
Missing the gone wrecks your very soul,
And over time, it take's its toll.
Forgetting yourself in your sorrow,
Forgetting about tomorrow.
Be not sad, for through you they live on,
Though in body, they truly are gone.
Alive and happy in your memories,
Your feelings, the only key.
In peace forever they will reside,
Knowing happiness is by your side.
Then death will be not their final end,
But life's next step beyond the bend.

Description:
I was thinking of my grandma when I suddenly felt like writing this. I'm not sure if it's to everyone's taste, but I tried my best :). This is more about accepting that the person is gone and there is nothing you can do. So, the best thing is to do is to cherish your memories and be joyous that there had once been, not sad that they are now gone.

- I liked it and its overall flow, it does get a little cramped feeling at times, but a decent poem. 3.25/5.
