• Lost in fearful thought,
    Destroying all chances of hope,
    Becoming ruled by hungry monsters
    Hidden within the brackish soul.
    Offering promise of harsh realities,
    Revealing a painful emptiness
Within the eyes of the wounded.
    Bringing forth a core-shattering devastation,
Wanting and yearning to be forgiven
Only to be scorned by some force.
Shredding and tearing at the soul
Of one once innocent and pure.
Weighed down by a massive burden
Upon the weakness of the soul.
    Becoming no longer useful.
For these wounded no longer care
About the goings of the world,
Making them prisoners for all to see.
