almost felt really bad
when i woke up there and i saw
that you had chosen the white pony
over the boy you told you loved
and into the sunset you go
with a ribbon of wonderful tales you've spun
in your hands, tying up your arms
so that you can really feel the ride
and while i should be able to be miserable
i can't, for some reason, because
pity can't be taken like medicine
unlike some substances in this conversation
and i've thought it out, and you know
you can go off and be happy, if you want
the first step to dying in your sleep
is going to sleep.
you look rather tired, darling

- Yay for talking about common thing like substances and actually using metaphor. Seriously, if this was more explicit in what it was talking about, it wouldn't be any good. But what you did here is definately the way to go about things.
