I have been defeated
But I was able to pick myself up
And by doing that I grew stronger
And I learned a lesson
Unlearnable by those who never lose
When you never lose, you never learn
From your mistakes comes knowledge
And that is how you grow stonger
Being able to pick yourself up
After you've been defeated
Is better than never losing at all
So if you've been defeated
Don't be afraid to pick yourself up
And grow stronger!

Repeating "been defeated, able to pick myself/yourself up" was a little too much? Find another choice of words, id say.
However, i detect teaching a life lesson here.
