We are taught that the end is near,
and so we fear the hypocrites who blaspheme to the tainted ear.
Lose focus of reality and the broken morality,
of sinners and saints,
what we are,
what we ain’t.
So worried about the world affair that we can’t catch the air,
of what approaches, what’s coming, what’s already here.
The future is now?
Then tell me this, How, will the future survive with no rulers alive?
When few bite the bullet and more bite the gun,
when few stand to fight, even more turn and run.
Disturbing, distorting, dismantled reportings of what we can be if you “just follow me”.
And in the end death descends and picks up the pieces of the cowardly men who let their ideals and morals and standards die with them.

That's beautiful. Really. Do you have a tune for it?
