Your dreams have become reality
You have a positive mentality
This is normalcy for you, not an abnormality
A broken hallelujah
Something ominous is amiss
Surely nothing can disturb your bliss
That’s right – nothing can get better than this
A broken hallelujah
Some things are starting to go wrong
You dismiss it and try to stay strong
You sing your happy denial song
A broken hallelujah
There are some things you just can’t ignore
Things are not as they were before
Acceptance scarce, but denial galore
A broken hallelujah
You finally realize what had all along been
You were fighting a battle you never could win
Long gone are your loved ones and your kin
A broken hallelujah
You have nothing left to live for, or so you think
Life has brought you to the very brink
Despair tattooed on you with immovable ink
A broken hallelujah
Knot the rope and put it to good use
The Hangman’s necklace you will produce
Ever-lasting sleep you will induce
A broken hallelujah

Over all it's very well put together. I especially like the imagery used. I would love to write music to this if you haven't already. 4/5....
and only because you said you did it when you were bored. So when you are intent on writing, it must be even better. - Report As Spam
