-
Gleaming crystal-blue,
the twinkling of your playful gaze calls
like all the sunny days of childhood
from across the glossy table's surface
and through the warmth of steam
from our teacups.
The conversation dances,
and so we embark
on a verbal journey,
or adventure...if you will.
Sometimes,
we took mango cheesecake along.
Every day
there was a world we created.
Every day
there were clown noses
and balloon animals,
held together by the warmth of
your hugs.
I remember them,
as I remember you.
My brother,
my friend.
Always.

- Title: Remembering Duane
- Artist: Breathe Akasha
- Description: I can't believe it's been three years. I still can't fully believe that you're gone. When you died, it felt like I was sinking into something so dark and cold...but I survived it. "You can never go down the drain". I miss you, buddy and I will always love you.
