What is there after death?
Heaven? Hell? Rebirth? Nothingness?
It is man's greatest mystery,
Or so I'm told.
But I know the truth.
I know what happens. I know.
When the blood runs cold,
The heart stills, the brain rots,
I know what happens after death.
I am The End -- walking, breathing,
I am among you, even now.
Seeping in your doors, snuffing the light,
dimming the hope in eyes
Death, I see it, exhume it, every day.
The end, the end, the end...
Or! So you think.
I know what happens after death.
It is for me, and only me, to know.
You'll know, as I do, soon enough.
I am The End. And I know.

- Agreed. MUCH potential. Easily expandable. It's a great concept.

- This has potential. I think you could dig a lot deeper & make a very metaphorical poem. This makes me want to write my own version.
