Remember remember this lesson my friend
love is very kind
It is patient and careing and never self-seeking
and it can always be blind

Do not forget this lesson my dear
Love, it cannot envy
nor boast nor be proud nor angered and rude
these things cannot make it heavy

Forget not this lesson young one
love keeps no record of wrongs
delighting in evil it does not
but rejoices in truth in song

Please remember this lesson good person
for love will always protect
and hope and trust and perserver
This you must not forget

But always remember this one little thing
Love will never fail
It will never give up for that is true love
and because true love is never frail
