  It's not very good. I've written a million times better, but then again it's March 2009 and I haven't written a poem since September of 2008. But it's not too bad after about 6 months of writer's block in my opinion.

I don't want it if you aren't by my side
Take my heart-- do with it what you want
Throw it away, or keep it with you always
It's your choice
I've made mine
I choose to be with you forever
I can only hope
I can only pray
That you'll say you feel the same
Take me with you where ever you go
And I promise to you I'll be bound
Tie this cord
Around our wrists
Maybe then you'll be mine forever
Each day I wake up wondering
How a boy like you
Could ever love
A stupid girl like me
What you see in me is a mystery
But if you stand by me forever
I promise I'll do the same
