I have two curious eyes
leashed and tied to the footsteps
of the world
I have parched skin
that roots deep into my flesh
gives me my image
of a burn scanned body
and a scared mind.
In a world where being blind
is on step behind
on a twisted bent track
With you next to me
i can see
i can view an ocean
from plains of
arid landscapes and desert skies
Leaving me alone in this world
like leaving a roaring fire
singing its guttural song
and dancing in the night
Who could forget how you told me
with smiling jest and bright eyes
that your here to the end
of our days
It seems to me that your
days have ended without a sound
and mine have yet to begin
ended without remorse, without
regret, and nothing left of
you to guide me to life
Now your gone and its becoming
more real to me
your loves gone and without you
mine could never be
your hearts gone so mine does not
beat but drones
now your eyes are gone so
I can no longer see.
Such a road state of affairs
beaten, bloodied by the pull of your hair
violate, now equally blind, and bare
is how they left my only guiding
shining bright, now faded into the night
Such a cruel world to allow
such destruction of beauty and hope
to leave a blind person
in a seeing eye world.

- There are some random weird bits. I'm having a problem deciding if the imagery you use (the ocean, the gutteral song) are supposed to be positive or negative. For a high-imaged and creatively-worded poem, you distinctly lack emotion.
