- Truthfully, when I read your poem, it sent my stomach aflutter...literally! This is a very interesting poem that is somewhat similar to the famous poem Nikki-Rosa written by Nikki Giovanni. Her life as a child was very poor, yet in truth, she was very happy. Your poem is similar because this is your lullaby even though it sounds like a complete nightmare! This is by far the most intricate poem I've ever read. It is such a shame that I can only rate this a five instead of something higher.
